The one song you SKIP on each album?

Pearl Jam is one of the few bands (that i can count on one hand) that drops an album and i wind up loving most every song on said album........with most bands i like 1 or 2 songs and the rest i can do without...but with them it's the other way around!

i skip these when they come on because either i'm sick of it or i don't like it....

1 TEN = Jeremy - if you have been a fan from the start like me...you prob have heard this a million times...personaly....wouldn't care if they never ever played it again!

2 VS = Daughter...same as Jeremy....sick of it!!!!!!

3 Vitalogy = Betterman - i'll just come out and say it...it's a fucking chick song!...and they play it wayyyyyyyy too much...it's even worse when i see all the "guys" sing along....pfffffff...pussies! ;):mrgreen:

4 No Code = Mankind - sorry Stone but........YOU CAN'T FUCKING SING!!!!!!!! (& I'm Open...but...that's not really a song :P )

5 Yield = Do the Evolution....yeah that's right!..you heard me!! i love the lyrics & the video is one of the best of all time IMO....but i hate this fucking song and they play it wayyyyyyyyyyy too much!!! (Push Me, Pull Me is crap too)

6 Binaural = Evacuation.....this song fucks up what would of been a flawless album.....damn i hate this song!!!

7 Riot Act = Get Right - much like Binaural..Riot Act is just an awesome album IMO...this is the only song i skip.

8 Self titled = Parachutes & Big Wave....love the album...hate these 2 songs!!....there is no other PJ song i dislike more than Parachutes! what a ball of crap!! (IMO)

9 backspacer = Speed of Sound...sorry but...you should of stuck with the demo version for the album....because the album version makes me vomit...from Ed's cheesy ass vocals to the way over produced music track.....you guys fucked this song up big time!!!!!!!!

    Vitalogy- Hey Foxymophandledmama Thats Me(No brainer, besides the filler, musical bliss)
    No Code- Mankind(Sorry Stone)
    Yield- Pilate(Rare time that EV's voice gives me a headache)
    Binaural- Soon Forget(Though it was a pleasant surprise to hear in concert)
    Riot Act- Cropduster(Simply put "dreadful")
    Pearl Jam- Army Reserve(Inability to catch my attention)
    Backspacer- The End(I don't necessarily skip it, I just don't pay attention to it)

    EVACUATION IS A SICK SONG, I DONT GET WHY PEOPLE HATE IT? THE ONLY THING THAT IS SUCKY IS THE CHORUS, THE MELODY AND THE BRIDGE IS JUST BRILLIANT!

    Parachutes and Big Wave are bloody ace

    But yeah bring back the demo of Speed of Sound.

    Im generally sick of Betterman, Do The Evo and some other songs but i never actually skip them, i wouldnt skip in studio as i havent theard those versions as much as i have heard them on bootlegs.

    Don't listen to the haters, this is a good thread Crazy Breed...let me think.

    1 - Black - For some reason, I never liked this song. I know its blasphemous in these circles to say that, but I've always felt this way.

    2 - Elderly Woman - see note 1

    3 - Spin the Black Circle - By far one of the worst songs ever written by the boys.

    4 - No Code has no skipped songs
    5 - Yield has no skipped songs
    6 - Binaural has no skipped songs

    7 - Help Help and Bushleaguer get skipped on Riot Act. However, the 03 boots have amazing live versions of Bushleaguer

    8 - Big Wave does nothing for me. Maybe it's because I can't surf.

    9 - Just Breathe, The End, Supersonic, Gonna See My Friend, Speed of Sound are all skipped on Backspacer. Am I the only one who thinks Backspacer kinda sucks?

    Let me explain myself a bit further dimitris. I am a die-hard fan from the beginning. Ten was the soundtrack of my youth and I adore all the songs on this masterpiece. I understand the meaning and story behind the creation of the lyrics and music. Maybe it's because I've heard it about a thousand times and have heard awful cover versions, but I just get turned off hearing it nowadays.

    I cant tell you the last time I actually listened to a studio recording with the execeptions of when they are first released. But songs I do skip on the radion/boots.... Small Town, Betterman, Daughter, DTE, Alive, Black, Jeremy to name a few. Pretty much anything Im sure I know the words to better than EV, due to hearing them over a MILLION times...

    I generallly don't skip but Speed Of Sound, Green Disease and Get Right don't do much for me. I love the way all the littIe "filler" songs (Bugs, Aye Davanita, Red Dot, Arc etc) knit the albums together. I still like to listen to the albums start to finish but some of the more often mentioned songs here get skipped on boots. Jeremy is very dull live and when Ed counts in Elderly Woman, 1,2,3,1,2,3... even he sounds like he can't be arsed. Still the best band around live and on vinyl and they'd be boring if they didn't have any flaws. Good thread this :D

    Only way Id wanna see Jeremy live is if they play it like the 95 Red Redocks version. I also skip Small Town when I hear Ed count down. I hate that part as much as the actual song and try to skip it IMMEDIATELY before he gets to the 2...
