    What's crazy...
For whatever reason I was thinking "I wonder if Jay Cutler could pitch"? I mean, he's clearly got a strong arm...
    Then boom!!
He's at the game and threw out the first pitch!

Surely he'd be as good or better than most of the guys on the team!

31 scoreless innings in a row for Dempster

Ending his Cubs career with some of his best pitching.

Gonna be sad to see him go. I've always been a big fan of Dempster!

The 2 HAPPIEST Men in baseball???

    Dempster and Garza...

Because they are about to leave that cursed team, known as the CUBS!!!

Those 2 guys probably have their bongs filled with good dope (like the kind of dope those idiots who pay $75 for a bleacher ticket smoke).

    Ryan Dempster...
    A career record UNDER .500
Who the Chicago Cubs have paid $67 million over the last 6-7 years?

The Cubs fans will probably put a statue of him on the corner of Clark and Addison.
Right next to the Leon Durham statue.

I see Geovany Soto got a hit today....

That brings his batting average up to .185

Geovany Soto is getting paid $4.3 million this year.

    Great trivia question...
But you have to think REAL HARD!!!!!

How many victories does Ryan Dempster have, while being a member of the Chicago Cubs, when pitching in the post-season?

Ill give all you Cub fans a little hint.

    It is less than 1.

First person with the correct answer.
Gets an autographed picture of Ronnie Woo Woo (Who will also probably get a statue)

    Up to 33 scoreless.

Dempster has actually had a solid Cubs career:

    9 seasons
    2 All Star teams
    ERA of 3.74
87 saves in 3 seasons as a closer
Base save % in the NL in 2005

Even though W/L is a bad stat to use to measure a pitcher by, Demp still has a winning record as a Cub. Just think what he could have done with some consistent run support.

No playoff wins, but he only started 1 playoff game in his career as a Cub. Obviously the team's fault, not Dempster's.

Your 100% right. Dempster is a class act and I hope he doesn't leave, but know he probably will. Best of luck Demp.

    Dempster out of the game.

Now we need the bullpen to hold on to get him the W.
