Got my tickets. My buddy got the home opener and the friday sox, and I got the Sat. May Cards game, Fri July Cards game, and Sat Sept Cards game. In addition to that I got most of the games in MIL.

I woke up this morning and tried for tickets again....Why???? I have no idea....But I did....

I will be going to 2 games....One in May, One in August .....

I have spent hundreds of afternoons in the bleachers......

The Cubs havent won a World Series in over a hundred years???? The Civil War had ended only 30-40 years before, the last time the Cubs won a fucking World Series?? The AIRPLANE had not been invented the last time the Cubs won a World Series???? World War II was still 30 years away, the last time the Cubs won a world Series????

As a child, I remember my father saying "The Cubs havent won a World Series in my lifetime"....I remember thinking to myself, "Well sooner or later the Cubs will win" "They just cant keep on losing forever"

Well, my father is now in his 70's, His health hasnt been that good the last 3-4 years. I am not sure how many more games him and I will watch together ( I hope a thousand more). And it rips my fucking heart out, that my father, and millions of other Cub fans, who have let themselves be taken in by the Cubs....Will live their lives, without ever seeing the Cubs win ONE FUCKING WORLD SERIES!!!!!

Millions of Cub fans have been born, lived 70-80-90 years, and have died, without seeing the fucking Cubs win a fucking World Series......


I am now 44, I realize that I too, will probably live 70 years, and the Cubs wont win a fucking thing....

Yeah, that was my proudest moment as a Cubs fan that I've had in a long time...
