I'll turn 54 in April . Just scored London today after 10C Wrigley last week . Still trying to live the Motorhead slogan "Everything LOUDER than everything else" . My friends and co-workers don't understand how anyone, esp. a 50 something, can have the desire to see anything 100 + times, rock out to the greatest band on 10 legs (or any number) in a fashion that belies numbers on a birth certificate, travel the world , and enjoy the company of people at every stop who are the salt of the earth . Their loss. Great thread !

41 here...taking my Dad 61 to Wrigley...Both fans since '92.
That is really awesome! You are very Fortunate! What are the holidays like at your house???
My brother won't drive on an interstate, and my mom doesn't like Crowds (unless it was actually a sports game).
I would have to skype my family from my seat, if I wished for them to join me.
That really makes a great Friday! Nice story. Thank you for sharing
Thx--Yeah it's pretty cool having parents that are still into stuff... I took dad to an EV solo show a couple years back and said we need to do a proper PJ show.
July Road Trip week. London with my wife. Then 2 days later Wrigley with dad. Family and PJ = good times

I am 44 and have been a fan since Ten, to be very honest I didn't like them the first time I heard them on the radio.
I had a thought for a topic like this the other day. If you are over 40 you were around for 80's music, good, bad and hairy! So I am interested in PJ fans favorite Hair Metal bands and so on.... Here are mine.
Favorite hair metal band: Mötley Crüe
Favorite 80's band/group: Prince
Favorite 80's female singer: Janet Jackson
1st Concert: Ratt/Iron Maiden/Accept
Favorite Seattle/Grunge band (non PJ): Alice in Chains
Worst Concert: Ratt (2010) though I have seen them 5 times.... Makes me appreciate PJ
Best Concerts in order: Mötley Crüe (1987), Guns n Roses (1991), Pearl Jam (2003, Alpine Valley), Pearl Jam (PJ20, day 1) wasn't there for day 2.
Well I am interested in the replies.

Hello all, wife and i are 41 and 42. I started listening to PJ in the early 90's. friend had a cassette recording of Black before Ten was released. Didn't get to see them live until 1996 in Ft. Lauderdale (in a huge baseball field). Listen to them every day!!! Lucky to be headed up to Buffalo for this tour.
