    I wish they would have done so last Saturday when I went to the game. It was a free ticket thankfully but still, I did not see Miguel Batista pitch.

    I think he does. This is just reality of the talent gap settling in, though you'd like to see more than five wins in a month.

    If fans are drooling Harvey, just wait until Wheeler comes up. Also I don't get why fans are making a big deal outta our pitching prospects considering the last time we had 3 good ones they failed. I don't know maybe its cause I was little and hung my heart on generation k bringing us a championship, but I hope things will be different this time around. Also for the love of god can Jason Bay be traded. It be doing us fans and him a favors by getting him outta here.

    AGREED - Bay is having trouble hitting simple ground balls to advance runners - last night Murphy doubles and he pops it up to the catcher!!!! And also had 2 K's... Jeez, I wish he'd get back on the roids or HGH, cause he's been a MAJOR disappointment - hopefully when Baxter comes back he plays more and Bay sits the hell down.

    The bullpen is dismal.

    Perhaps, but IMO this season he leaves guys in too long (see Niese last night) and went to a shaky Ramirez when Byrdak (who needs to throw)and Rauch were available.

    the only thing you fins fans have to look forward to this season is hard knocks.... ;)

    you do realize, the bears were 7-3 last year with bad O coordinator and d league receivers before cutler went down with the thumb injury. they also puked over two wins...barber handed denver a win. could have easily finished 10-6 last season....

    add in Brandon, plus a second big receiver....change the offense to suit Jay.... added some depth to the D and you have the makings of a 12 win team.

    Good luck, love your optimism...FINS (6th best D in the NFL last year - and returning ALL) will surprise you and the NFL - so glad Brandon Marshall is your headache now (sorry, you'll see)

    Speaking of Reyes, I don't get the boos for him. I'm still waiting for the Mets to actually offer him a contract, which the booing portion of the crowd doesn't seem to recall happening.

    Harvey and McHugh look legit. I know this team probably won't do it, but I'd love to see Wheeler pitch a game or 2-McHugh has got a nasty curveball.
