Yeah I don't really do sharing either. Purely cos I'm a grumpy git if I'm kept awake by other people

Anyone know of any car hire companies in Berlin?

I've booked into the Motel One on Alexanderplatz, it seemed central (as I'll be there for a few days).
It's showing a rate of 84 Euro a night at the minute, got a feeling that I got it cheaper than that but my mind isn't working today,
Tripadvisor had good reviews, and my cousin has stayed in these hotels before when going home to Germany so I figured it should be good.

  • Well, we'Re just there for that one night. my only problem is the shared bathroom. I don't really like going to the same toilet and the same shower as all the others. Who knows? ;)

I'm also a pain for not wanting to share a bathroom with others. I like a room with en suite facilities so I can shower and use the toilet at my own leisure :D

Sian, I'm staying at A&O Berlin Mitte, they do hostels and hotels from the looks of it so I booked one of the hotel rooms. 32 Euros per night, not to shabby. Nice and central too :)

    Booked my room for Berlin-
Apart Hotel Van der Spree walking distance from Venue and wasn't that expensive.
Didn't seem like there were many rooms left?

Any suggestions for travel between Nijmegan and Berlin
Berlin to Gdynia? Anyone road tripping between?
My first trip ever to Europe, really looking forward to this!

u are asking the numbers of the lotto..isnt easy travel and in one day..
so this is what i know already:
the easiest way is by car, other option: by train to szczecin and then by train to gdynia, which will take you about 6,5 hours:

here are the connections (just click search). once you get to the "gdynia" train station it's very easy: there are shuttle buses every 15 minutes departing from the station to the festival site.

unfortunately there are no convenient flights :( well there is one through copenhagen, but i think it doesn't much sense since you'll fly into gdansk (sister city of gdynia, kind of like amsterdam-rotterdam) and you'll have to travel to the festival site with a bus/taxi... and the flight is expensive:

    thanks Magda for the infos
