  • OK, my only point was that I don't like being amongst that huge amount of people. I'm pretty small and so it's not a lot of fun in the front and in the back I don't see anything. Are there some kind of barricades (in German they're called Wellenbrecher if anyone has an idea what I mean) to seperate the crowd?

How many people fit into - well onto the fields - of Wuhlheide?

  • Is it far away from the stage? Sorry about all those questions. But I'm really excited to see PJ for the first time now (it's the first time I can afford to go to a show) and I don't wanna miss anything. ;)
  • Is it the 30th of June yet? :?

We're yet to book out hotel/apartment... where's everyone else staying?
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • As I decided to stay over night now I found a hotel near mid Berlin for 26€ a night in a double room + 5€ for breakfast. I'm gonna find out what it was again and tell you as soon as I know. It had 76 out of 100 points from people who stayed there. Sounds not too bad for that price I think.

I only got that German link. If you need help understanding anything, just ask. I'm online most of the day as I don't have a lot of work to do today ;)

I hope the link works. It's from a German page for hotel price comparison.

That's not too bad! We looked at a hotel yesterday that had a shared bathroom (which made it an automatic 'no') for nearly 100 Euros! :o It's a case of seriously shopping around I think...

    Oh eek D, that's bloody early! :?

We're with friends in Belfast and Dublin and then staying at a generous friend's house in Amsterdam but Berlin is different. Hostels are great idea for solo or group travellers but we're a couple so we need A, our privacy ( ;) ) and B, it's our main holiday for the year so we'd rather make the most of it and have some luxuries and romance ;):D
