you dont need a "beerhall", its World Cup time and Berlin has (again) one of the biggest so called Fanfests to celebrate the this! Its like a party mile all around the "Siegessäule" area, one beerstand after the other, one food stand after the other, public viewing everywhere :D:D and all for FREE

Yes Dimi, you can take the S-Bahn from Alexanderplatz to the Fanfest... or walk all the way... You can reach this place from all bigger stations around (Friedrichstraße, Hauptbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, ...)

OK then, we all go to watch the world cup together :D
When do you all arrive in berlin? I'm there from the 25th to 1st. But I think I'll only have time for meetings from 27th to 29th.

That's a long walk - like an hour. I love walking but I'll opt for something else on vacation.

    Beer Hall? - Kneipe? Biergarten?
Beer is everywhere, you don't have to search for it :D

Even if germany will be eliminated by that time the party goes on! There are so many people from all over the world living here, that's no problem :D

And "Platz" in germany means a public open place, a square... ;D and it's the only german word dimitris knows :D

yep, thats right, hundreds of thousands people will be there every day, no matter what or who is playing :D
We had this Fanfest here in Hamburg as well, back in 2006 (it was sooooooo fantastic!) and 2008 for the European Championship, honest, fun all the day all the time (all 4 weeks) through

Ahh Biergarten, yes I've read it that way before as well. The only thing is it's not english. Maybe Beer Garden would be the next best way to say it in English?

Thanks for the info in fanfest..I'll be checking that out no doubt.
