Well, Europeans got preference last year... Australia didn't and the US residents didn't either...

there wasn't many shows last year so that made sense, but there's enough to go around this year (and there'll be US dates later)

    ahhhh, excitement!

Don't think I can make the Ireland dates though - mid week I have uni stuff and it's probably impossible to fly back late at night?

Hard Rock Calling, I can't make either! but then I'm not fussed about going to a festival date.

Looks like I shall have to travel further afield!
  • Again no Swedish dates...

I think this is really wonderful, rubysdad... because it gives people plenty of time to save money and plans to go to Europe.

I'm just expressing my concerns about the trend of not giving people enough time to think and save for the tickets they would like to purchase ahead of time, especially in the economy state many of us are experiencing.

    December? Ouch.

But... i'm just offering constructive comments that i hope you and your organization will consider in the future on how to make this more available to the fans who otherwise couldn't.

Thanks and congratulations to everyone who had been waiting for this announcement!

Berlin would be the city I'd choose for us to go.... very rich history there!

EDIT: Kat has clarified in another thread about the ticket sales... clearly out of 10c's control on this. It does make sense... I honestly do think 10c would have given us sufficient time in purchasing 10c tickets if they could help it. I hope they could figure out the solution in the future.

Kat's post here in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=119592&p=2691176#p2691176:
    Kat wrote:
If the organizers of the event put tickets on sale now, the Ten Club offers tickets now,...that's how I see it anyway. Until members buy tickets, isn't it just a verbal commitment that tickets will sell? It's the talk but not the walk...Ten Club members actually getting tickets is the walk. Sure timing could have been better for some -- but not for others. It wasn't the Ten Club planning this though.

Happy Holidays everyone...they sure are getting close!

    :::clink:::: we're cheering you.

    xo

P.S. decides2dream also pointed out an interesting observation - only 2 Americans complained, which neither of them is even going at all...and Europeans aren't even complaining. Ha!
