    ahhh birthers are back.....

with this little tidbit, this man has no credibility and he has every motive to perpetuate this story....

"Adams, who says he's a Hillary Clinton supporter who ended up voting for John McCain when Clinton lost the Democratic nomination to Obama, told WND, "I managed the absentee-ballot office. It was my job to verify the voters' identity."

You assume way to much. How do you know he's not telling the truth or making it up. So if he would have voted for Obama you would believe him ? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying
how do i assume way too much? it is clear this man has an axe to grind. he voted for hillary and he voted for mccain. he does not support obama so it makes sense to my mind that he would perpetuate this story, whether it is ture or not.

  • It hasn't been settled and I don't believe you for one second when you say it wouldn't matter if he were a republican. When he shows his real birth certificate I will believe it. Untill then I wont. We do have this thing called evidence you know and right now all the evidence is saying that he wasn't.

i don't care if you believe me or not. i really don't. it has been settled. if he were a republican it would not matter to me because i have beter things to do with my time and more important things in my life to worry about instead of spreading lies and allegations on a pearl jam message board, as if this place is the new york times or the washingtom post or some investigative journalism site??? it is counterproductive when we have real issues that need to be solved. why is it every time that woman in florida tries to bring this "evidence" into court she is laughed out of the courtroom?

the situation is what it is. what are you gonna do about it?

you people are ridiculous. This man has been alive for 49 years, all of which he's had continuity stating he's born in the US. When he served in the Illinois senate, his BC said he was born here. When he was elected to the US senate, his BC still said he was born here. He gets elected to become president and suddenly people start questioning his BC. Don't you think every single fucking member of the GOP would've been working day and night to expose this if it were true? Don't you people think this would've been uncovered? Why'd he spend $1 million keeping it out of court? Maybe the $$$ was worth it for him to not take his eye off the campaign trail, the economy, health care...you think that maybe he didn't want to waste time fighting this issue in court when there were more important things to worry about...funny ONLY THE BLACK GUY IS ASKED TO SHOW HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE. MAYBE PALIN WAS BORN IN RUSSIA :?

Obama was not born in Kenya. Flying saucers didn't land in your backyard last night. God wants you to burn witches and gay people. Does it matter if Eddie Vedder is Pete Townshend's love child with Aretha Franklin??? Believing a thing does not make it true, birthers. Irrational beliefs lead to dysfunctional behaviors.

You can draw that conclusion if you want to. I still think it's odd that Obama would spend over a million dollars to keep it out of the courts. I don't care what anybody thinks. Who in the hell spends that kind of money if they aren't trying to hide something ? NOBODY!!!!

and again he still has not shown his real birth certificate.A certificate of live birth is not the same..

You can call me a birther or whatever you want, but these are questions that need to be answered. I guarentee if it were a republican president you and the rest of the people that voted for Obama would be screaming about this.

"According to this wording on this official State Government of Hawaii web page, the term "birth certificate" is an "umbrella" term covering both Certificates of Live Birth and Certifications of Live Birth. They are not the same thing, but both are Birth Certificates. The Certification of Live Birth is just as valid as the Certificate of Live Birth, is just as much a Birth Certificate, and is considered prima facie evidence of Hawaiian birth for all legal purposes (as clearly stated on the bottom of the form), not only the Hawaiian Home Lands program."

Obama has shown the real deal. You've shown an inability to deal with it. Sorry.

YES, because, if that were the case, he'd have much less to sing about. And I for one don't want that. :D

Oh and more on topic, a couple of thoughts:

If you're born to an American citizen, you are an American. It doesn't matter where your mama did the pushin'. I was born in England to US citizens (pops was military); would you challenge my ability to run for pres.?

To you folks playing the race card, that might be some birthers' motivation, but gimme a break. If one of Palin's parents was Russian-born and a Russian citizen still, then yes, I think people would make a fuss over it. Anyone who had voted for her opposition certainly would.

Does it really matter. By the time this gets figured out and anything gets done about it, it will probably be 2012 and Obama will be history anyways. :D I'm just concerned about how much debt this guy can accumilate by then.

do you realize how bad of a position we were in when he left...forget the blame game for a minute. The amount of debt that was accumulated when the country was not in a recession is staggering. We went from a surplus to a defecit without any economic strain; factor in 2 ongoing wars (= $3 trillion) Add in the tax cuts for the WEALTHIEST AMERICANS that have been in place for the past 10 years and a total lack of control on the increasing insurance costs leaves you where this guy steps in. So who has spent more? $3 trillion dollars in war, economic collapse costing the country trillions, and health insurance costs which is the #1 reason for bankruptcy in the country and i think you'll see the last guy LOST a shitload more than this guy has spent.
  • I think the fact that he's a warmongering piece of shit lining the pockets of his corporate whores and the fact that he is a sad excuse for a human being matters far more than where he was born.

Some people must be very bored. Or very happy to have no other problems.
  • Is there a thread about the Indonesian Citizen issue?

That controversy is an interesting one as well: Some people have argued that Obama was legally acknowledged as a son by his stepfather Lolo Soetoro. Barack was then "Barry Soetoro." The argument is that Barry Soetoro never renounced his Indonesian citizenship, and never changed his name back to his birth name of Barack Obama.

I am NOT saying that this is true.

Obama said he could fix the economy but everything he has done has failed....as he and his wife are enjoying the good life on the American tax payers dime....

I don't like Bill Belichick either but we should really try to stay on the topic at hand.

Yeah yeah yeah, Bush sucked, I get that. I also get that Obama preached to us ( 6 times to be exact ) on tv telling us that he needed his first stimulus package to save all the teachers and the firemen and the police. You know, all of our heroes. I also know that he just passed a jobs bill for 26 million dollars so that we can save all the teachers, and police, and firemen. All the while, there is still 380 BILLION dollars left over from his first stimulus that is unaccounted for. :? MO MONEY MO MONEY MO MONEY! GO OBAMA....FUCK YEAH!

Right on Aerial! You know, I've racked up some pretty good debt over the years. Maybe I can just borrow more money and be wealthy again.
