My buddy commented on the irony of an Iverson statue at a practice facility.

Sights and sounds from Allen Iversons sculpture unveiling at Sixers practice facility - Liberty Ballers
Why is the Allen Iverson statue so tiny
Did they hire the same sculptor for the Iverson statue who did the Spinal Tap Stonehenge?

So we need either Indiana or Orlando to lose today to avoid the play-in game? Orlando has the best chance to lose since they are playing Milwaukee. Of course we have to do our part and beat Brooklyn.

But if they both lose we’d get the 5 seed and possibly Boston in the second round. Better to get the 7???

well we got the 7th seed. I don't understand, how come the 7th seed plays the 8th seed? Shouldn't the 7th play the 10th seed?

7 plays 8 and winner is the actual 7 seed.
Loser then hosts winner of 9 vs 10 to become the 8 seed.
So, 7 and 8 have a better shot to make the playoffs than 9 and 10. For either 9 or 10 to make the playoffs they have to win 2 play-in games, 7 and 8 only have to win one game.

Win Wednesday and we play the Knicks. Lose and we play the 9/10 winner for the rights to play the C's.

At least the Embiid teams have a great record in winner-take-all games. Oh wait.

not gonna lie at halftime I was kinda doubtful that they weren't gonna win.
I was so beyond sure we were going to lose, and I wasn't even interested in watching a game against a sucky team for the right to go and get rolled by Boston. (our only chance is to get some momentum and get Embiid back into mid-season form before we play them, and hopefully Miami beats them up a little)

Was the whole Frosty Freezeout thing designed to completely change momentum in quasi-playoff games? That was incredible. Every team is going to have one of those promotions next year.

There was about a 40 minute stretch when I had to leave the room for the Sixers to do anything good. As soon as I come back in Herro drills a 3 and Embiid dribbles the ball out of bounds.

I've rarely been at a game where the atmosphere changes on a dime like it did last night with that chicken thing. Prior to the free throws it was dead, game looked bleak....after the free throws it was electric and never stopped until the buzzer sounded. Fucking crazy.

I remember that series Xavier. Hersey Hawkins forgot how to play basketball for three games...

Oubre for sure kicked Butler's knee in mid-air and he may have landed against it as well... both accidental, but still enough to cause a legit MCL injury. The Heat weren't world-beaters this season anyway, but I'm bummed we won't get to see playoff Jimmy. Boston's gonna roll through the East regardless.

This was a fun team to watch. Barkley and Mahorn (I forget what their nickname was though). Also had Hawkins (who I liked a lot), Dawkins and G-Man.
