Wait, Charlie Brown Jr. plays for you guys?
Can he kick a football with more sucess than his dad?
We hardly have any guards right now so starting him and playing him 25+ a night is not quite ideal. But the kid hustles his ass off. One of Jo's other highlight reel assists was to him last night actually.

Sheer basketball brilliance on display night in, night out

Look the guy is playing better than anyone in the league right now...but really we now have to praise him for telling two guys to switch positions? Philly fans are becoming so soft.

Yes because telling two guys to switch sides is SOOOO newsworthy we have to post a tweet about it.  Of course the same guy  who posted it got annoyed when I posted a tweet about actual game stats.  Funny world we live in these days.

Nice to see a Hawk in Charlie Brown Jr. getting a shot.  Was talented but always thought he had a bit of a dog in him for the Hawks. Was really just a shooter for the Hawks.  Has really worked on his game and persevered to get a shot. Funny thing is is his shot has been a liability with the Sixers so far.  Hopefully he can get comfortable enough where he starts knocking down those shots. He has that in him.

This one was just a beaut, Clark. His passing and floor vision are off the charts this year. Great cut by Furk.

Embiid is the MVP but doesn't mean I have to like every aspect of him.  I didn't like everything about Iverson, LeBron, Kobe, etc.

Could you ever compliment them, even once, without immediately following it with the word “but”?

Yeah. My sorry attempt at humor. We can’t all be as funny as Joel!

  • Here I'll do it for you "whatever he backward passed you have to post everything he ever does he didn't even win the game with a buzzer beater".

Haha, I don't even think this guy even knows what he argues for, just argues for the sake of arguing - he just goes so deep in digging in his heels that he hopes you'll forget what he said, because he sure did.

Actually I know exactly what I have said here.  To Recap over the past few weeks: I think the 'clutch' stat is fucking bogus, Embiid is funny and I posted what Embiid's numbers were in the last 5 seconds with a chance to win or tie, which apparently offended people here for some reason even though they were actual numbers.   Oh and I also said Embiid is playing at an MVP level...let's not forget that one because it seems that get's lost as you guy take shots at me.

in the past I have said that Trust the Process is bullshit, Hinkie was a fraud and Embiid would never be healthy (maybe wrong on that one although until this year has missed a ton of games), and Simmons was a lot better than Sixers fans think (and he is and Morey agrees with me more than he does Sixers fans on that one).

anything else you want to know?

Sounds promising. Better for the Sixers to have those connections than not I guess. I also find it comical (though not surprising) that multimillionaires worry about tax rates.

As I told net fans I know, never buy a player's t-shirt or jersey in a contract year.

So they're gonna end up "trading" Simmons for Harden afterall...2 years later?

6 straight 30 point games. Two more away from tying the record he tied a just couple weeks ago with Wilt and AI.

Franchise is like 70 years old and it’s only been done three times. This guy is close to doing it twice in a month. TTP.

    Lol
Kendrick Perkins claims to have sources confirming that Harden wants to play with Embiid too.

Look, if we make some minor moves, make a little playoff push and Jo wins MVP this year....I'm happy. I think that kind of season will make him even more desirable to guys like Harden. Then it's Finals or bust time.

I feel like Embiid is enjoying the challenge of doing everything he's doing while Ben Simmons is at home playing video games. Seems like he's having more fun than in previous years. Fuck you Ben.

2 out of the 1 seed. I think Saturday is the perfect game to rest Jo. Tough stretch of the schedule looming on the horizon after that one...

For what it's worth, my brother in law's buddy who works at the Sixers says the Kings gm and president were at Wells Fargo Center last night. Perhaps something is afoot...
