    Sian, it should take you about 2 hours driving from Belfast airport to Dublin city centre (maybe an extra 15mins or so, depending on who's driving!) It'd be awesome if you could make the pre-party even if it's just one light beverage :D

    I hope to but it depends on Dave (my Dave) and Dave (the lovely gentleman who's driving us). They are my escorts for the Irish and Dutch leg of the tour so i'll need to keep everyone happy.... and not stamp my feet and throw a huff if we can't make the meet-up :P

    I think our flight gets into Belfast at about 8pm, we then have to drive down to Dublin and get checked into Blooms... where is the meet-up? I hope it's close to Temple Bar :?
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Dave started doing stuff like that on Saturday. Plus, he's sorted a sightseeing tour of Berlin for us and he's even arranging a restaurant for us to go out for a romantic meal the day after the show :D

    Hopefully Amsterdam/Nijmegen wont be too difficult as we're staying witha friend who lives there :)

    It is! Just about a 10 minute walk at most along the big river :) (or you can take the shorter way here)

    It's called O'Reilly's/Sub Lounge. It's right underneath the train station there! The entrance is quite hidden though, I'll see if I can stick up a sneaky sign from the entrance of the train station to the door of the pub. If you have any bother finding the place, you can give me a call and I'll meet you somewhere :)

    The food in Berlin is fantastic... love love love it! I can't wait to go back!

    Fucked if I'm queueing in Berlin. Such a waste of time last year for those that did. I wandered down there at 1 or 2, got to hang out sitting on the grass outside with loads of wonderful people, got a seat and had a great view over the heads above me. Also got to eat and drink some more inside the venue... nommy :D
