Really hoping the euro tour 2010 is not just festivals :(
It will never be JUST festivals, there'll always be some regular shows in the middle 'cos festivals are only Friday-Sunday (with some also Thursdays) so it leaves gaps when the band has still to pay for crew and equipment so they might as well do shows. Just look at the 07 schedule.(but stankratz is wrong, festivals pay very well, at least for headliners, with much less hassle and expenses for the band)
so,Pegasus when the festival annonced via their websites, we run for tickets or we wait for 10c announce first?/
if the festival announces, it's a sure thing, that's the same as 10c announcing.

article i read said U2 would be the Friday night headliners so they could fly back out to the States to play Saturday and/or Sunday night on their tour there...
yeah I saw that today.. which gets me worried.. unless PJ does HRC on the Sunday, there's no way i can do both (and I'll do HRC rather than glasto if I have to chose.. sleep in my own bed and not pay a whole weekend ticket for 2 days only)

i think hyde park might be considered. neil young, blur, bruce springsteen all did it this year with rave revues!!!!!
    yep..i think is a good idea... :D

Do you have any idea how bad the mosh would be at that place??? Not a good choice at all
no worse mosh than any other festival.. were you at Reading in 06? that's the more squashed I've ever been in a pit (though Chorzow in 07 was the worse pit ever, not just tight but aggressive, which Reading wasn't.. I'm never going in the front in Poland ever again..)
I have been reliably informed Pearl Jam are confirmed as doing a festival in London in summer. I will not leak the exact details but this information came from a very reliable source. 8-)
as Chime said, basically it means Hard Rock Calling.. it's the only festival in London of a size to accommodate PJ.

What countries would be left in Europe then? Practically all of Eastern Europe...Yugoslavia would be a part of that region.. ;):D
    ?
they've played "Yugoslavia" in 06: Zagreb (day before my birthday so I made sure I was there :P)

yes, compared to 2006 and 2007 this year the tickets lasted for much longer than just a few minutes. I think O2 tickets were even available until the 10C-Presale officially ended. some things must have changed..
more 10c tickets I think, plus Euro priority.. (ok Wembley 07 had a lot but many yanks made the trip since there was no US date at the time aside Lollapalooza)

So 7th Dec ... 10c sale ... and I'll be watching AiC  :?
oh bugger I didn't think of that!
but I don't believe those rumours anyway... (about a sale next week I mean)

  • In all honesty, I love Pearl Jam and I wanna see them two or three times in central Europe, as we did the UK this year.... but I can wait a little. All the summer 09 gig memories will tide me over for a while (and hell, I only got the bootlegs a week ago!) so I can wait a little longer than March for my next fix.

Hoping for an early July tour and ticket sales early next year when we've all had time to save up after Christmas :)
we're all going to the same place...

I remember in 2006 in Barcelona I met the 10clubbers who rented a bus to tour Europe and I was almost thinking "I'm going to quit my job and follow them!"... well this year I'm not working (so a lot of free time!) so should all these rumors be true what do you guys say if we do the same? Rent a bus and tour Europe to see all the gigs we can?

Congratulations. I have two nieces and a nephew, and he was born around 8 weeks ago.

Fingers crossed that Pearl Jam don't play Glastonbury, Download or Reading...I want them at Hyde Park or the o2.
