Found this is  thrift store the other day.  AllMusic *  described it best: "Not enough o's in smooth to describe this one, Williams is nothing but spot on in this collection."  A very cool record!

    Andy Williams – Lonely Street

    Label:Cadence (2) – CLP 25030, Cadence (2) – CLP-25030
    Format:
    Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo
    Country:US
    Released:Dec 1959
    Genre:Pop
    Style:Ballad, Vocal

    * As a side note, that AllMusic review was written by Cub Koda, the man guy who wrote the song "Smokin' in the Boys Room".  Cool on all levels!

Been looking for a good copy of Fables for a while and my local shop had a copy in the new arrival bin yesterday. Now I just need Murmur to complete my R.E.M. discography.

    Great record!
Hope Sandovol and David Roback (RIP  ) did "Fade into You" first and best, of course, but I love this version by J Mascis also:

It’s pretty darn great and there are still copies available via their official store (https://store.thenixonsofficial.com/ only place you can get it). It’s not the most polished recording (they never planned to professionally record it, but set up some room mics and combined it with the soundboard audio). But it honestly feels more like being in the room than a lot of other live albums I have.
