Thinking of getting this.  My favorite DMB album.
Do it. You won’t regret it. It’s my favorite too (though Halloween is one of my least favorite DMB songs)

I can't believe it took that long to arrive.  Mine came two weeks before the official release date.  Now I'm 50 miles from the Warehouse, but that still seems crazy different.

Regarding Halloween, I read somewhere that Dave didn't include the lyrics on that because he didn't want his mother to see it.  I don't love it on the record, but I do love it live.

Enjoy - Sonic Youth has a wonderful back catalogue to explore. Not read Thurston’s book yet, but Kim Gordon’s was good.

Thanks, ST66483 .  Yeah, looking forward to digging deeper!  So far I have Daydream Nation and Sister, and recent picked up Lee Renaldo and the Dust's excellent double LP, Last Night on Earth
Definitely check out Thurston's book!  I finished it yesterday and it was one of those books that I wish had gone on even longer than it's nearly 500 pages. So many great stories including telling about his close ties to (among others) Neil Young, Kurt Cobain, J Mascis, and cool interactions with Eddie Vedder.  First rate!
I will definitely check out Kim's book, thanks for the tip!

Thembi... nice!  One of Pharoah's best!

Also very cool that you picked up Lou's Sentidoh album.  I love how it's low-fi quality fits those intimate and personal songs.  Very cool!

I can see not wanting PVC used in water lines, kids toys, or anything that might lead to ingesting carcinogens.  But if someone is dumb enough to chew on LPs or leave them out for babies to chew on, well...  Calling Darwin.  Mr. Charles Darwin, white courtesy telephone please...

It's the end of the age of reason.

One of the great rock records of all time... no doubt.  Every listen reveals something new and interesting.  I never get bored of it.
