New Third Man Vault arrived today. In 20+ years of getting records in the mail I've never seen a record packed in this way for posting. Really smart. I'll try and post pictures but if you got this then you will know what I mean. Thick oversize box with a special cardboard insert and then the record was placed on top of the insert and fixed to it tightly with a wrap of plastic so it didn't move.
Very cool. I still say the best box I’ve ever seen vinyl shipped in is the Benny.

Admirable hunting skills. Better wrap your place with fishing line so no one breaks in to steal it.
Found it on-line or in a store?
May have to bust my cd out now. Add a little highball with the devil & I'll be just dandy.
    Congrats

    Thanks mang!
Online.  This one had gotten out of my price range (like Oysterhead) but located one that wasn’t obscene in price.

If they cut this pie in two I'd still give both halves to you…. My dear pal Lou.

Right on BDW! 2024 is the 30th anniversary. Maybe a reissue will be forthcoming, fingers crossed. Just got impatient waiting for a reissue of this and The Grand Pecking Order. Decided to grab this one and then start looking around for the Oysterhead record in the new year along with Of Fungi and Foe.

So Sausage was the OG Primus line up.  Interesting.  I never knew they recorded anything.  I always thought it was Clay, LalOnde and Alexander.  Interesting.

Lurie has done some very cool work!  Beside being with Lounge Lizards, he acted in two great Jim Jarmusch films, Down by Law and Stranger than Paradise .  Musician, film score writer, actor, painter, and yeah, fisherman... really talented guy!

Also from Lounge Lizard is Arto Lindsay who has done some really weird, cool, eccentric guitar work both with LL and particularly with his group, Ambitions Lovers.
