These are just "bootlegs" or is it proper multitrack recordings?

Kind of cute having this one, being recorded in Sweden...

Folk Implosion 'Feel It If You Feel It' single. 12” silver vinyl, in a hand drawn sleeve signed by Lou Barlow and John Davis on the back.

I pre-ordered this in April last year and completely forgot about it! It arrived this morning and was a very cool surprise.

Very cool however I would say that silver and gold vinyl while sounding fine always come out looking a little weird.

Finally picked up Dinosaur Jr Seventytwohundredseconds MTV 12" EP. Had to wait a while and use a bit of discount to get it around the price it was when it came out on vinyl last year

Yeah its a very good official Bootleg, the entire show.
Releases last RSD ( Nov 2022 ), limited to 2600 copys.
They have a few of these live recordings, looking a little bit the same.

Good show!  That's a great EP.
I think J and company did a few other things for MTV around that time, right?  I might be wrong, but if they did, I'd love for them to put that stuff out as well.
I love Lou of course, but Mike Johnson did a great job with the guys in those few middle years of the band.

Evidently.  That's great @pjpjpaul Thank you for the head's up.  My son has wanted this for a few years and I didn't want to pay the flipper price.  Very pleased to pay $75 for it.

Fuck I just spent all my vinyl money on a Dirty Three record and the remastered The Wall Vinyl.   If I knew this was out I would have bought it.  Hopefully some are still available next month.

Funny how the market is getting saturated with le color official releases from some bands.

    Bad Brains in particular.

Picked up a live release. 500 color pressed and still available.
Then other sites have 300 another color and more.
At least it's not a scramble to score a record I want.
Maybe no one really cares about bb much.
If those numbers were pj they'd be gone.
Makes grabbing a copy less of an adventure/thrill/hunt for me. Missing the spike in my blood pressure on a drop.

If it doesn't sell out I'm like meh.

    End of rant
    :/

  • My Rolling Stones Box Set arrived.  This thing is MASSIVE!  Will open up and go through it today...  Only the last two albums are step down as they were recorded in stereo and all the reviews look great for this.

The last two are beggars and Let It bleed, right?

Maybe their two greatest records.. dirty,  sludge Stones at their best.

I've heard other people rave about the box set,  so enjoy!

I'm getting a bit confused by the Stones box sets here.  Are these vinyl LPs or where they meant for the "I just picked up ________ on CD" thread?

My understanding is that they’re Vinyl LPs @brianlux

I have seen them advertised in record stores here in Australia.

But this may not be it…over $1,000 here in Oz.

Generally vinyl is very expensive here as nearly all is imported from overseas unless it OG or second hand. I can’t imagine it would that expensive in the US. But you’d think still expensive enough.
