Picked these up from a local shop the other day.

SDRE LP2 is one of my all time favorite albums... :plus_one:
got to see 2 Jeremy solo shows last summer!!
It was $8, had to grab it! Especially after picking up the Newbury Comics Diary a couple weeks ago. I don't think the shop owner even knew what it was.
    GREAT Score!!
I've got that version of Diary too &
I picked up How It Feels To Be Something On last year.
Just need The Rising Tide and I'll have them all :rock_on:
    Dave,
Did you see where Rising Tide vinyl is being released on RSD?
That was a nice surprise for me. it's the only SDRE studio album I need to complete the collection.
    GET OUT!!!!
    I did not see that...
    Thanks for the heads up!!!
I'll definitely be adding that to my list :plus_one:
I was surprised as well...... this and the Black Angels release are gonna make me get my butt down to Harvest Records.

Finally came! Sounds phenomenal. My only complaint is that the low end seems a bit lacking. Maybe I'm just not use to a true, un-colored mix.

Wow. Took forever. I think it sounds exceptional! I didn't notice a lack of bottom but I don't think I expected it either.

    SoundStageDirect takes forever.

It could just be that my setup is lacking, but even with my bass-heavy M44-7 cart, I find myself turning the sub up when playing this.

Do you have a pure mode on your amp/pre-amp/avr? That is the way to get true uncolored music as the producer intended, IMO. It should shut down all the extra circuitry that can taint the sound. It would also eliminate the sub from your channel.

Depeche Mode Sprit vinyl sounds great...very quiet. And after a few more listens I'm getting into the album more. Just a couple songs I don't care for.

I 'inherited' a bunch of records recently when a family member passed away. There was quite a lot of stuff in there that isn't my cup of tea, but this lot have found a place on my shelves. They're all original editions bought at the time of release.
Most of the sleeves are pretty beat up, but the records are in very good condition and they actually sound really good

LOL! (But in reality, one of my favorite trees next to cedars, redwoods, maples... love me some trees!)

Nice one goldrush, that CCR I'm guessing will be a goodie. I have a reissue of Aftermath, a very underrated Stones record.. Enjoy!

Especially where you live, one of the most beautiful places in America. But I'm with you.. .Trees is one of my favorite Rush songs ever. The imagery, symbolism, metaphors are fantastic. Oh and the music too.

Cheers. I was really surprised by how good they sound, especially given their age. I think it's clear that he looked after the vinyl a lot better than he looked after the sleeves! There was also a copy of Uncle Neil's 'Harvest' in there - how many copies of that do I need?!

And I agree about Aftermath. It's not one that gets mentioned that often but it's a solid record.
