Very possible my last purchase from the soon-to-be-closed Dimples record stores in Sacramento:  Larry Coryell and Philip Catherine, Splendid.  And splendid it is!

    Two incredible guitarists:

My favorite store closed this month too. Sucks.  But the owners retired so...
Place was great because they let you bring back used records,  no questions asked.  No one else in town does.  So it was no risk.

Last ones I bought were No Jacket Required and Hello I Must Be Going by Phil Collins.  3 bucks each.  Sad.

Oh no!  It's like the tolling of the death knell for used record stores.  This is the third closing I've heard of in the last few weeks.  Certainly downloads and on-line purchases have their place but the ability to browse the bins in used records stores becoming a thing of the past?  This is terrible!

I was thinking the same thing. I had never heard the album before, but how can you say no to that cover?

Already had a copy of Jenny Lewis’ On The Line, but won a copy of the indie exclusive/limited blue vinyl. And you can’t go wrong with George, Zep, and the Boss
Nice!  I really wish the deluxe edition OTL was color vinyl!  I had already bought it when the blue was released.

    Picked up four new albums.

    GHOST's live album
    Tegan and Sara's latest
    Neil Young The Visitor
    Neil Young's latest live release
How is the T&S album?  I wasn't a fan of the first two singles so I passed on it, but love all their prior work.  Pretty pumped about the announcement today.

I'm not sure which is better, the cover or the orange vinyl. I don;t know Guster. How's the album?

I finally coughed up the bucks for a near-mint copy of one of my very all-time favorite albums, Coryell, by Larry Coryell to replace my original bought in 1971.

Here's one of my favorite cuts from this exceptionally fine records.  The cascade of notes at the end never ceases to amaze me!

I think LA Woman is the absolute best.  But I'm very partial to the blues.  Love that album, end to end.
