I am dying to!! I've got my eye on the Ryan Adams Live at Carnegie Hall boxset, as well as The Killers' reissue of Sam's Town, and the last two albums by The War On Drugs... However, this is the winter when I finally shell out for a good portable air conditioner, and the one I've got my eye on is $800. I think maybe I need to not buy records until I buy that. Depressing now, but it won't be this summer!

My local shop has a very clean first pressing of Tom Petty's "Wildflowers" that I'm very tempted to snag to go along with my first pressing of the "She's the One" soundtrack.

Nice! That's at the top of my list. What's their price? Even before he passed it was $300+ and now the prices on discogs are just absurd (cheapest currently is $650). At this point, just hoping for a 25th anniversary reissue next year.

I don't use Discogs at all.  These prices are just crazy on there.  ebay prices aren't even close to what people are trying to get on Discogs...

I had heard a rumor (about a month ago) of a Jan 2018 repress. It's been crickets since then, though.

I don’t know, I use both.  They both have good deals and awful ones.  I’ve found tons of stuff cheaper than amazon on Discogs- you just can’t be looking for the “hot items.” Deeper albums, unknown artists, etc are a ducking steal!  The thing you have to watch out for is the grading.... I don’t buy anything other than mint or near mint off Discogs because the sellers all over grade their stuff.

Edit- I just checked my purchase history and a few years ago I picked up every original bob marley studio album for a total of $42 shipped.  That’s a steal!

yeah, you just have to get lucky when people are having fire sales and what not. I got my Ten first US press on there for $65, which is the lowest price it shows paid for one in the statistics!

I have long enjoyed the Stereo version and I purchased the MONO version back in 2015 and I am sad to say that it is still in the wrap.

gotta get in that Beefheart mindset to listen. I will let you know.

Cut down on record buying, that was my New Years resolution. So far this year I've received the new vault record and Ryan Adams live at Rough Trade. They were purchased last year so that doesnt count. Anyway I lasted 9 days and then couldn't pass up ordering the new Breeders LP - All Nerve.
