This arrived today! Haven't had a chance to spin it though.

Can you post something up when you do? I'm curious on how it sounds, considering the remix.

Initial impressions - the mix is definitely improved on this. Chris's vocals no longer sound like he's yelling down a hallway and Matt's drums don't have that overly industrial sound. I will say the overall volume seems to be slightly low, even with my M44-7 cart. The vocals still seem to be suppressed a bit behind the instruments, but not nearly as bad as the original mix.

The record itself is somewhat noisy, but that very well may just be static or dust. I will give it a good cleaning and see what happens.

Went back because they called and said they got a 1968 first press of The Beatles White Album. UK top load version. This has been a fantastic day for me.

Since I had bought the She's the One Petty album earlier they gave me the White Album for $175. They were asking $250.

I've been on a bit of a Neil spree lately, trying to fill in some gaps in my collection (I had a bunch of records get water damaged years ago and I'm still replacing some of them)

Finally got hold of another copy of this gem...

    image

And I've always had a soft spot for this one...

There's a few more on their way as well :)

Nice. Which Aja version do you have? I've been trying to find an AB 1060 for a while now. Every time I buy one, an AA shows up. Very annoying.

I actually just got the Blink 182 Boxset not too long ago. It's a nice package. I got it through soundstagedirect with the 20% off deal. It was $142 total. If you're going to get it I'd hurry though. I know it has been discontinued and getting harder to find.
