I have the digital version, it's compressed, but the more I listen to it... I think that it was an artistic decision to make it a little distorted to give it the feel of those early blues records. I haven't picked up the vinyl yet (I will), but I would think it would be a little better, but I still think you are going to hear the distorted sound and compression. With all that said. I recommend it a lot, especially if you like the Stones and blues.

I've listened to it digitally and I agree, I really like the material. And the distortion doesn't bug me at all. Someone got me a gift certificate to our local record store so I'll just use it on this haha.

Sound any good PJ_Soul? I've seen that one in my local, quite tempting, decent track listing..
I'll let you know once I spin it! I just ordered it, so won't have it for a few days.
    Ok, cool..

So yeah, this sounds pretty good, but not great. It is clear and crisp, but not as rich-sounding as one would hope (especially on side A). Anyway, for the price, it's acceptable. Not making the "sounds amazing" list though.

Yeah, the further you get into the album the better it sounds.

I got 1984 for a buck at some sidewalk sale at my local indie store a month ago. Lot of wear and tear of packaging but it plays nice. I got Draw The Line recently as well.

The side boob on Love at First Sting is worth a $1.50 as well. When I was 12 and that came out, I couldn't stop staring at the tape in my brother's room.

Can someone tell me what app or website they use to post pictures here? I think my pics don't show up because I'm posting them from google/photos and I'm guessing you can only see them if you're logged in your own google account. Help please.
