the entire nada surf catalog...ordered it yesterday. all albums were $12 with the exception of the new one, which was $15. got the entire catalog for under $75. funny thing is i remember paying like $14 for each cd i bought....so i got the vinyl for cheaper than the cd. who knew that was possible??

Just FYI for Led Zep fans, they are going to start reissuing their albums this year, with perks:

I actually read last month that Jimmy Page said they'd be reissuing ALL of their albums in 2014 like this, but I guess he realized that was too lofty a goal and slowed down the process.

Just bought Lorde - pure heroin on vinyl, excited for it to get to me. She's got quite the voice.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • I just went to the record store and got an original Vitalogy for $20. I don't know if that's a good deal or not, but I'm pretty damn happy about it. It's my first "original" PJ record out of all the old ones. Which most likely means that it's going to open up a flood gate and my "I'm cool with just the reissues" isn't going to last long much longer. Sigh.

It's a fantastic deal! I think they are going for more like $60 usually. The original pressing is FAR superior to the reissue, both in sound and in the fact that the original is on one disc and the reissue is on two discs for no apparent reason (although surprisingly, the reissue's jacket is more solid than the original's) . You got lucky today! image

Hell yeah. I thought it was cheaper than it normally goes for, but I really wasn't sure by how much. Just got done spinning it, so happy with the purchase.
