Damn. I've been looking for this at a reasonable price. If anyone scores this in a mystery box and doesn't want it PM me.

How do you like the RP3? I have the upgraded RP1 and am tempted to upgrade. How big of a difference is it? Worth the $?

Well to be honest I was tempted to do what you've done and just upgrade what I had, but went with a new turntable. I can definitely hear a difference in the sound quality, the RP3 has a better motor, better platter made of glass and what really makes it, a better tonearm which is more well balanced. They fitted a better cartridge too which helps. It's probably worth telling you I updated my amp to a Cambridge Audio Topaz SR20 as well, it has a built in phono stage so no need for a seperate pre-amp and is better suited for running just two speakers. Overall I'm really happy with this set up and have been going back through a lot of my old favourite vinyl to blast and hear them on the new gear. Very happy and yes, well worth the money! :)

Nice! A new setup is always fun. I upgraded about a year ago & listen to vinyl almost every single day now. Enjoy!

Nothing too fancy, but it's a huge step up from my previous setup. The amp is powerful as hell & have it running through some decent vintage speakers.

Found this used today, was pleasantly surprised! It's not the purple version, but still a very welcome addition to the collection for a very reasonable price.image

Maybe because you have the US version? Mine is the Europe version and if you look on discogs you can actually see the US version without a label and the Europe version has a label on it.

This is the fantastic debut album from this loud four-piece band from the UK. For fans of Joy Division, The Cure, Interpol and Editors. Definitely one of my favourite album of the past year...
