From everything I've read, yes. It's definitely been pulled from the PJ merch store, and I'd guess about 80% of anyone that has received it from the 10c are claiming shit quality. I'm still waiting on my copy. :corn:

I haven't received mine yet and what I'm reading is very much lowering my expectations. Does anyone know if they are they accepting returns on defective vinyl?

I have actually never once managed to listen to Wilco. I keep meaning to and then always get sidetracked..... Bird!
I recommend you change that, they are solid, always put out good music, still to this day their albums are worth listening to

That's sure saying a lot since One By One is the Foo Fighters worst sounding album. Even the vinyl sucks.
Foo Fighters worst sounding, do you agree with that Wil? I was thinking of grabbing that record sometime...
I must disagree! Sounds fucking great and loud! This is the re-issue from 2011. I paid $19.99. No problems here!

Finally got Lightning Bolt at the record store today. It's a black vinyl and has all the stickers in it. Pretty cool.
I'm on Yellow Moon right now and the only problem I've had is a pretty big skip right when Sirens started, which is honestly a pretty big bummer for me. I hope I can get it exchanged at some point but I bought the last copy they had. But, I consider myself pretty lucky that that's the only problem I've had compared to all the stories about how bad they are. Other than the skip, no hissing, buzzing, or anything else.

just got my 10c copy today. Packaging is all in great shape, but the vinyl appears smudged in places. About to spin now. Will update with sound quality shortly
Update: (copied from thread on the porch)
Received my 10c copy today. Packaging is in pretty great shape with the exception of a slight tear at the bottom of the inner sleeve. Side A sounded pretty good except for a few pops during the first two verses of Lightning Bolt. Side B started right away with more frequent pops on Pendulum. Pops continued throughout side B with the worst coming on Yellow Moon...sucks that B is the softer/slower side of the album. I will say though, that after about a dozen listens over the last week, I can conclude that this a fantastic record.

The 2011 reissues were not remastered, just re-pressed. One By One is the worst of their CDs too. The vinyl pressing is exactly like the CD. Loudness Wars killed this one.
I haven't heard LB on vinyl yet but from what I've read it sounds terrible. I have no doubt that One By One might sound better than LB but if that's the case then LB really has issues.

LB actually sounds pretty good if you were lucky enough to get a good copy. Their best sounding vinyl since Riot Act.
I can't directly comment on this vs One By One, but loudness wars+vinyl typically means pretty awful.
I will take One By One any day over my copy of Lightning Bolt. Hell I will take the copy of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road my dad gave me over Lightning Bolt any day of the week.
