It happens. At least it isn't 1993 when they really needed to win there and got swept, losing out on chances to finally get first place from the Jays.

If Swisher doesn't hit that home run on Wednsday. It could've been 7 losses in a row.

Yeah, man. Should be a good one. Although I don't really give a fuck about the football game, I am watching it with an NFL dork or two who will be sure to make us switch channels.

How does Crawford get kicked out there? Maddon should have been out there as soon as that ball hit the glove

Did Gardner just make the 3rd out of the 10th at 3rd?!?!?!?!?!?? Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!?!
  • Cliffy6745Cliffy6745 Posts: 33,729
I can't comprehend how that happened. What was possibly going through his head that made him think that was a good idea.

Girardi always says its up to Gardner. He basically has the green light to go whenever he wants.

poor decisions then on gardner's part. if he stole 2nd, he could have easily advanced to third on posada's fly ball to center. and then who knows.

ah well. get em tonight! can't wait for the the yanks/tampa series at home... going to the game on the 21st and 22nd.
