    The nerds got too cute with that nonsense. The offense is lucky their 18-strikeout game took place on a night when that nerdball backfired and took the focus away. That being said, I always expected a split of the first two games, albeit not with some decision by a nerd Boone probably never met impacting their pitching plans.

    I tuned in right before the 3 run HR.....weren’t the two men on a “strike him out, throw him out” DP?

    Couple bad calls there. Should have been a walk with bases loaded to voit just before that. Umps have been real bad all around behind the plate in this series

    I thought Montgomery would give a credible performance. I've always felt the Yankees win this in five and am sticking with it.
