Went to bed about halfway through but was digging it at that point.  Cool that they ended up winning.
Now....can they slap the Rays around?
I really want a Yanks vs. Strohs series in the ALCS...and to see the Strohs swept.

Yeah, I made it for most of it, but put it on my phone next to the bed (no TV in the bedroom) and fell asleep to wake up and see Chapman give up the hit in the 8th.  Then tried to go to sleep since I figured it was over and couldn't and then obviously got hooked in the 9th. An absolutely wild game. Then of course a insanely loud car alarm goes on and off outside my house from like 1-1:30.

I don't know. I mean on paper they are better than the Rays but the Rays smacked them around this year.  Hopefully things even out.  I can't stand them and yes, would absolutely love to beat Houston!

Plenty of times regular season results are irrelevant, two I can think of immediately are 1988 Mets dominating the Dodgers and then losing in NLCS and in 2007 the Yankees going 6-0 against Cleveland then losing the ALDS, Also worth noting is that Judge played only four of those games against the Rays and Stanton was injured for the final two series against Tampa. LeMahieu also missed the second series with Tampa.

Also, Voit batted .333 against Tampa this year.

Didn't know Jay Johnstone died. Remember hearing him on the radio doing Yankees games.

The Rays haven't faced the Yankees much this year with Stanton and Judge.

The Yankees have been winning with Stanton in the lineup in the playoffs.
