torre, tino, paulie, goose in 2014
    bernie in 2015

tino is the odd man in this equation. but whatever... four time world champion after filling some gigantic shoes at 1st base.

i am the happiest for bernie. so long overdue. when i saw the e-mail come across from yankees.com, i just saw the 2014 names and was cursing that bernie wasn't included at all. then i saw the 2015 mention.. weird he is being singled out and will be next year. wonder why that is?

I mean, I love tino but he does not belong touching monument park. That said, just happy Torre is getting his

    This is funny

NJ.com: You also wrote about going to Yankee Stadium once to taunt Derek Jeter. Why did you do that?

Randolph: I’ve been in baseball all my life. I’ve always wanted to sit in the stands and watch the game. Have a hot dog, a beer -- I wanted to be a Bleacher Creature for a day. I never had the opportunity. So I was out of the game a couple of years ago. Mitch Modell was really cool, he let me borrow a couple of tickets, they were great seats right behind the Yankees on-deck circle. I really was trying to get his attention, because most people call him Jeets, but I call him Jet. I was four or five rows back, I thought I was audible enough, I kept saying, "Hey Jet! Jet!" I didn't want to talk too loud because I didn't want to blow up my spot. I was trying to be discreet. By the fourth inning, I said to my son, "Is he ignoring me?" I stood up and said, "Hey Derek! You suck!" [laughs] His head swivled around, and he said, “Hey Will-O, you son of a [expletive]." In typical Jeter fashion, he goes up and hits a line drive double to right center field and he kind of tipped his cap to me and second base. I looked at my son and said: "Now I can die and go to heaven. I’m one of the few Yankees fans that heckled Derek Jeter at Yankee Stadium."

Things are not in a good place, my friends. Yesterday was frustrating as hell.

So, last season was the line up. This season, it's the rotation. At least Tanaka is what we paid for so far (knock on wood).
    Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Lineup isn't exactly knocking the cover off the ball either, but yeah

This season for me feels like the year after Mattingly left. Took me awhile to get into it.
