Spring is in the god damn air and the Yankees play baseball tonight. Life is good, my friends.

What a difference a year makes this was our OD lineup last year

    Brett Gardner CF
    Eduardo Nunez SS
    Robinson Cano 2B
    Kevin Youkilis 3B
    Vernon Wells RF
    Ben Francisco DH
    Ichiro Suzuki RF
    Jayson Nix 3B
    Francisco cervelli C

Amazing we were able to finish with 85 wins with all the injuries we sustained. Anyway the quest for 28 begins can't wait for the first pitch.

They won so many more games than they should have. That is repulsive.

Good riddance and to think he was the reason we didn't get Cliff Lee back in 2010 just unbelievable

BTW Solarte took his number :))

Holy shit balls that was gross. The worst is waiting 6 months for baseball and seeing a first inning like that. Reminds me of a couple years ago when they walked the bases loaded to get to carlos Pena and he hit a grand slam in the first.

Heart skipped a beat when jeter got hit.

    Offense looked pretty awful.

Betances looked fucking phenomenal. Damn glad to have a killer b up and hopefully contributing

gonna be a long season haha. I have a feeling the pitching will be fine though...maybe aside from CC.

me thinks CC needs to put that 100 pounds back on or he will quickly find himself 5th in the rotation.

Gross. Have they gotten back to back hits yet? Scattered hits and put people in position but nothing close to a rally

There are a lot of numb nut Yankees fans who treat baseball like football. 160 games to go.

Leave it to Solarte and Ichiro, haha.

A win in this series would be nice, especially given its the back half of the Toronto staff

I just dropped Soriano off my fantasy team, so he'll probably start hitting now haha

I'm liking Solarte right now. If he keeps this up, maybe A-Rod will find a new team.

I typically think the Yankees broadcast is better than average and love singleton but last night they were a little dull. It was a slow game though
