Why oh why would Ron Washington turn Swisher around, ESPECIALLY in Yankee Stadium

He was. I am a huge fan of his. Love everything I have read about him. Love a fast working ground ball pitcher.

Not gonna lie though, I had tickets tonight and couldn't go so I was really hoping he didn't pitch a no hitter.

Next couple games are going to be tough with Garcia and Nova. Hopefully they can at least win one and take 3 of 4.

Yeah, it's too bad. Explains the breakout season though. His payday will certainly be a fraction of what it could have been.

You know..I thought about this and I think it makes a whole lot of sense and it also isn't going to happen because the I doubt the Yankees will want that distraction around just for Melky.

But 1 year $8 million or so to fill Swishers void....can't really beat that. No risk in a 1 year deal and they are able to get it off the books before they want to get under the $189 in 2014. If they were confident in him bouncing back if they could get him on a 2 year deal for cheap, that would be big since it would be a small number for an outfielder going to that $189, that definitely wont happen though.
