Too bad he did not get his mark last night. To an empty stadium!

When is the next series? Aww, man. He could have reached it against the sox trailing by half a dozen runs in the ninth.

    Just messin with you!

correct, his .134 average against also ties Gio Gonzalez for the league lead.

Jeter diagnosed with a sore right calf.

    He'll be fine.

Hope so. Singleton was saying something about hoping it doesn't turn into a strained calf.

It's a Grade One, which is the least serious. However, the other Yankee with a Grade One injury is Bartolo Colon.

If they do DL him, he would be eligible to return for a home game against the Brewers two days after his 37th birthday. If he does not get the six hits then, the next series is at CITI Field.

I'm looking for him to be out for just over a week with no trip to the DL, then get his 3,000th hit on old timers day.

come on cliffy. the only two yankees games i can get to this year since i've moved are friday and saturday's games at wrigley.

since i can only get to two this year, i am more deserving than those old timers ;)

Ahh man, Thats rough this happened now for you. I was actually supposed to head out this weekend for that series but never put the trip together. If not Yankee stadium it would have been cool for him to do it at Wrigley. Still can. I failed to mention that I will be at old timers day so that is really what I was hoping for.

Hope all is going well out there.

    What was that? Roger Clemens?

That's correct. Something about a Juan Acevedo pitch to Eric Karros costing Clemens 300. However, Tom Glavine did get his 300th win in 2007 there on a Sunday night game for the Mets.

question - when the Yankees fly do they have to make sure Sabathia and Colon sit on opposites sides of the plane to make sure the weight is even distributed because their such fat asses? man Colon is enormous. he makes Sabathia looks svelt.
