    That's why the new stadium is weird to me. At the old stadium, it was automatic people would stand when a Yankee pitcher has two strikes. Now it seems like they need reminding, especially in the lower two seating areas.

    watching guiliani sit behind home plate the entire game last night was annoying. you know you are on TV, get off your ass and cheer!

    One is a Dodger Hall of Famer from the Los Angeles era, Another was a Red Sox in the 1986 ALCS. The other three pitched in World Series games in the 1920s and 1930s for the Indians, Athletics and Senators. Sabathia was the first to do this in an elimination game.

    Red Sox... Clemens prob didn't give up 11 hits - who else pitched for them? Eh, I don't know.
    A's - Only one I can think of is Lefty Grove. He was probably too good to give up 11 hits.
    Senators - um Walter Johnson? Obviously I don't know any other 20s or 30s Senators pitchers.
    Indians - no fucking clue
