Agreed man, and Ortiz acts suprised. CC would fuck Ortiz up, no doubt.

    Fuck Beckett.

I fucking love that CC waited to hit Ortiz. I wanted him to knock Youks teeth out but it's so much better he hit that fat fuck.

What ever happened to the cocky Yankees fans that just didn't give a shit about the Red Sox, their fans and just cared about one thing, winning.

You all sound like a bunch of ... well ... Red Sox fans!

Yeah, after starting 2 - 10 and y'all having a long fucking laugh about it, the Red Sox are on a tear and eating the Yankees lunch. And embarrassing them at home.

And if you can't beat them on the scoreboard, you're all on a mission to see them just hit Red Sox players in retaliation.

I see clearly what's going on.

It's been three pages of this ... and barely any mention of, you know, winning the damn game.

Again, you sound just like the Red Sox fans you loathe. This is EXACTLY what Sox fans sounded like all those years the Yankees were the gods of baseball.

    Think about that.

so moving right along, god it feels like a bunch of WFAN callers in here.... It looks like Sabathia's slider is real sharp as all his strikeouts have been on that pitch. Also looks like Cano is playing defense without his head up his ass tonight.

of course it had to be done, but the topic gets drawn out ad nauesm, the best retaliation for this nonsense is to win a damn game.

I don't really like the whole retaliation thing with HBPs in the MLB. It's dangerous in that it gives all the power to the pitcher. Getting hit with a baseball that fast is dangerous and shouldn't really be a part of the game apart from it happening accidentally. That said, I still liked seeing CC sticking up for his teammates. Probably makes me a hypocrite, but whatever. And he knew what he was doing, so I'm glad he didn't chuck a 95 mph heater right at someone's head. He just wanted to send a message. He seems to have a cooler head than a lot of other pitchers.

Also, this isn't a goddamn war battle. At the end of the day, it's just baseball, as hard as it is for some to believe. No reason to wish physical harm upon opposing teams.

it's stupid that this actually happens in the al where the pitcher himself would never face any kind of retaliation.

i don't know if I'm in that group. I try not to say much. But there comes a time when enough is enough. Especially with beckett and ortiz. And I've always been a pessimist.

On a lighter note. Do you think Al Sharpton will boycott the Yankees broadcast booth because O'Neill preferred white bats over black one's? Comedy fail
