    Jesus Montero #3, ETA 2011
    Gary Sanchez #30, ETA 2014

Fucking love to see 6 Yanks in the top 100. Suprised to see Banuelos so low. Also a little suprised to see Montero above your boy.

Edit: And yeah, definitely some trade bait there. Romine I would assume is the first one out the door. I think they will hold on to Sanchez

Phillies have found plenty of good prospects, just traded them all for pitchers. And still have a pretty good system at high A.

I know it was a small sample from last year, but brown still seems pretty raw to me. He looked like he was on ice skates in the OF and his swing has a lot of holes. I'm looking forward to seeing him in spring games...hopefully he can iron out these kinks. I think he starts the year in AAA, which is probably the right move unless he tears up the grapefruit league

    I'm sorry, but I just couldn't stop laughing at this: http://www.onionsportsnetwork.com/artic ... ing,19407/

I know it's The Onion, and its aim is mostly just to be funny, but it makes a good point near the end of that (fake) article. Stop trying to take dignity away from the guy who made your team a dynasty again.

I have been reading that Montero is looking good behind the plate. If he can hit a little, it looks like he is going to make the big league team. I have always thought regular at bats for the beginning of the season in triple a made the most sense, but we shall see.

Just got back to you. Thanks a lot, dude.

The beat writers and management/coaches annual paintball game is today. Always love reading about this and love that the Yanks do this.

Ha, yeah, I have been to this site, not in a while though. This is a tough one, going to try it out shortly.

Mo had awesome things to say about Banuelos, I really hope they don't trade this kid for Liriano. I think they can get it done without him or Montero and really hope they don't get desperate and lose this kid. Sounds like a young Santana from everything I read.

Detroit seemed smooth, red sox tix for May 14th look sold out, I got a pair though. Lower level seats have generally nit sold as well due to the outrageous price. I stick to the terrace area, about $50 a pop

I got Strokes tix for the night before @ msg.... This will be a nice way to spend the day after nursing my hangover, hopefully the weather will be ok

I am sure they are scouting every pitcher that could be available. Nothing to see here.

Mitre hurt, looks like the other 3 will most likely make the team.

Edit: Oh and Banuelos is taking his spot tonight and pitching against Boston, which is on ESPN. That should be awesome. Move over Montero, the hype around Banuelos is at obscene levels right now.

I didn't see it, read about it though. Heard it was pretty damn impressive. He is incredible. I like paying attention to spring training to watch the young guys.

Edit: I thought this was great from Chad Jennings.

It's amazing how dominant he is with just one pitch.

Did you see the Sports Science thing ESPN did last week? It was awesome, let me see if I can dig it up.

Edit: For some reason the video isn't up anymore but it basically said that by the time the batter can pick up on the spin of the ball based on the velocity and everything else, it is impossible for the human eye to see the spin and react to the late movement. That's awesome.

He also had this quote, which I love: “Get it and throw it and let’s go home.”
