Y'all came out ready to play yesterday. I keep saying, "They are the Yankees for a reason. They are the defending champs for a reason."

Still, I feel really good about going up there and taking 2 of 3. Yankee Stadium doesn't seem as intimidating as the old stadium. I guess that is what happens when you price out your loyal fans and force them upstairs (looking at you Jerry Jones).

That's why the new stadium is weird to me. At the old stadium, it was automatic people would stand when a Yankee pitcher has two strikes. Now it seems like they need reminding, especially in the lower two seating areas.

Sabathia is the sixth pitcher to allow at least 11 hits in a postseason start and give up only two runs. Anyone care to take a guess who the other five were?
    Yankee pitchers?

    No, none were Yankees.

Well, maybe another hint would be nice. Pretty wide range of pitchers to pick from...

Is Tommy John a hall of famer? Oh - maybe Drysdale.
Red Sox... Clemens prob didn't give up 11 hits - who else pitched for them? Eh, I don't know.
A's - Only one I can think of is Lefty Grove. He was probably too good to give up 11 hits.
Senators - um Walter Johnson? Obviously I don't know any other 20s or 30s Senators pitchers.
    Indians - no fucking clue
