Not to get into last night again but it was more than just pumping his fist, I just singled that out. Dude, tossed his bat and pretty much crawled around the bases. It annoyed me.

On to tonight, looks like the yanks have some pop in them too. How great a pickup was thames. Lots of credit to cashman on that one.

It's also one of those good stories that gets lost behind the various stars on the yankees, a guy from texarkanna testing his hip in the dead of winter just waiting to get noticed. I guess you could say he's the Yankee version of RA Dickey to a smaller degree.

I didn't see the game last night, just the highlights. that dude Nova looked like he instigated that nonsense. I thought what bautista did was pretty awesome. I would have crawled around the bases there too.

Kuroda placed on waivers...yanks said to be 'all over him' if he makes it to them via waivers (from MLBTR).

The date is August 26th and the Yankees seemingly have one sure thing in their starting rotation. CC Sabathia has been nothing short of brilliant for months, A.J. Burnett has pitched to an ERA north of six for a month now, age appears to be catching up with Andy Pettitte, the 24-year-old phenom in his first full season as a starter in the AL East is starting to show signs of fatigue down the stretch, and the various journeyman dreck filling out the back of the rotation inspires confidence in no one. It’s a scary thing when a team built to win year after year suddenly starts to show cracks in the most vital part of the roster.

And here’s the kicker: that was last year.

Exactly what I said the other day.

The biggest pitch any Yankee throws this weekend will be hours before Friday's game when Pettitte has his bullpen session.

For the record i've always hated burnett as a pitcher and was disapointed when we signed him.

What are they gonna do though. i guess another 3 man rotation in the post season lead by CC?

Cliff Lee looked like he would have been an embaressment of riches at the trade deadline if the yanks got him now he sure would make me feel a lot better.

what are ya gonna do though
