    Fuck yeah.

Alright, I really don't get this. How do the Yankees dominate the Twins like this? I mean, they are a big league team. The Yankees don't dominate any team like this. I don't understand how a team can beat a team this often over such a long period.

Don't take this as a slap in the face, but I have no idea how you guys can watch a playoff game and be on here. I'd be glued to the tv with a constant 12 ounce adult beverage in my hand.

I'm pacing around the house o an ipad

    That's how I'm here

I like talking during the game to fans. But never anywhere but my crib

Ipad huh? How is that? Like is it actually worth it? Seems like a big iphone that doesn't play music or make phone calls.

Bars suck if you don't have a good spot. I love them when I do - like I've said before, I look at sporting events like concerts and want to spend it with as many people like myself if possible.

What do they do that an iphone doesn't?

Wait, what? 725? Do you mean 275? I thought they were like $400. Either way, it seems like a ridiculous item if you have an iphone or a laptop. I'm sure it's cool and all, I sure wouldn't decline one if I was given one for my birthday, but I don't understand how someone would go and buy one. Especially with how things are right now, I can't believe that Apple is making money off it or what the rush to put it out was about. Seems like anyone who would buy one are techies that just have to have one for the sake of having one.

The email I got said $725 and that retail for the one she had was $900 something. I don't know. Never looked into it. I don't really get it either. A gift sure, buying one, fuck no.

I think the majority of people that have them are the dorks that have to have every apple product. Tools. Not you Neily.

The only Apple product I have any remote interest in having is the IPOD Tocuh, but I don't have a pressing need for it. I like how my cheap T-Mobile flip phone gets better service than the Iphone.

Now with their great packaging - how much did you pay for this? 10, 15, 20 dollars for rubber bands?

Managed to catch the last two innings.

Kerry Wood was fucking great in that 8th inning, he came through big time.

That was dominant. They didn't have a chance.

He definitely was lights out in the 8th. Great pick up for the Yankees.

Actually...it was $5 for 2 - one white; one blue in the same package. This was created by Boomer and Carton and they are selling for charity. Thought it was cute. Gave one to my nephew.

Wonder if Ed will show up to one of the games to support Kerry? What would happen if they go to the WS against the Phils with Ibañez? Two of his baseball buddies in 2 different teams.

cheering for the yankees is like going for the house in vegas: they're supposed to win. they have the best players, they spend more than all the other teams.

other teams can spend also. their owners just choose not to. and most of their payroll is mostly due to a handful of their players. They do have by MLB standards minimum wage players.

Coming to a yankee thread that is over 200 pages and takling about how they spend so much money is very orginal.

come on man its an old song and it's played out.

Anyway great game last night. The strike zone was a little shadey but it was for both teams.
To nitpick 3 times the yankees had a runner on 3rd base and they could not bring him home with les then 2 outs. That is terrible.

hopefully hughesy can finish this one off tomorrow!
