we're really excited....we're heading to the KC area to see my side of the family and meet the newest addition to our family---our niece, Libby. and i know the questions will come..."when are you two going to have your first child?"...yada, yada, yada....they can ask all they want & we won't care. we're just psyched to meet Libby & see my family. it's been 6 months since we saw them.

I don't know how I feel about Christmas this year. :?
It's always been kind of a tough time of year for me and this will be the first Christmas since my MIL died last summer. I don't know what to expect, I just know things will be different.

i LOVE christmas...but i also love all that leads up to it. besides, i also have a birthday and thanksgiving first. :D the ENTIRE MONTH of december is magical to me, and i like to enjoy every minute. i am psyched b/c hubby and i are both off from thanksgiving thru december 7th...awesome.

also, on my walk to work today, macys is starting all their christmas decorating. they already have a giant tree up on one of the main entrances on 34th street. 8-) and so it begins!

I made this thread to slowww things along. Some people start celebrating Christmas at the beginning of December and I think that's WAY too short! That' why I started November 1st :D .

Also, you're SOOOOOO LUCKY to work in NYC!! That's the Christmas capital of the world!!!! If I got to walk down 34th street every day this time of year my life would be fucking great!!!
