If they video recorded this, how epic would a DVD be of the last 4 shows @ the Spectrum?!

It would be sweet! A 2 disc DVD or 2 disc Bluray release. If all 4 night's get it's very own DVD/Bluray treatment, that would be mind blowing!

That may be the case, I just don't want everyone to get their hopes too high for a DVD release.

Trust me, I'm praying for the same thing.

  • considering i was front row center for the last night, i want more than anything to be a movie star by them releasing this on dvd. id basically be the happiest person alive...... until i hear any news, i feel like ive had Fuck Me In My Brain stuck on loop in my head for months now
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

Jeeeez, the last 10 years have really spoiled everyone. Can't people just download the audience recording and settle for that until the official one comes along? There's nothing much wrong with the quality for this one.

Or maybe all the people bitchin' were never around for the audience bootlegging days, before they started doing 'em in 2000.

  • I never got a chance to comment on this show, but the only way to some it up is simply amazing. This was the best concert I've ever been to and I've seen a lot of shows. This show had a party type/new year's eve type atmosphere to it which I've never experienced before at a PJ show. The crowd was amazing as usual, but I'd say night 3's crowd had them beat by just a little bit. I was surprised they didn't play dirty frank, with it being Halloween and all I figured it'd be a perfect fit. Other than that, amazing show and a great party.

I'm sure no one will read this post as it's so far down the list now but, with all the bitching about the boots for this show I just wanted to thank the band for the great shows and the beautiful box set. I got mine today and got the biggest shit eating grin on my face when I saw the box cover. I loved that building and had so many great times there. Thanks for the great shows and sweet box treatment.
