BizzzyBozzzy wrote:Amazing set list and I thought the energy grew at the night went on, but to be honest the energy was nothing compared to LA 2 which was in a much smaller venue. Not just in my section, you could even see that the floor was rather dead at times from the side.
My brother was at the show last night (and went with me to LA 2) and he said the same thing. Interesting how that could be seeing as how LA 2 was nowhere near as intense as LA 3 or LA 4.
Of course, a lot of time it depends on perspective (where you sit and who sits around you), and with a very unique setlist I can imagine a lot of the non-hardcore fans probably didn't know quite a few of last night's songs.
That being said, great setlist, wish I could have been there last night!Everything has chains...Absolutely nothing's changed. - PJ

I didn't think they could top night two and they did. Best show I've ever seen. If they can top last night tonight I could die right there. Was section 320 last night, tonight I'm
in 321. Was unable to get 10c but that's ok. I love that Ed keeps looking back behind the stage.
Wanted to hear smile and thought I might when he busted out the harmonica fr footsteps? Maybe tonight..

I am really debating if I should go tonight. My husband is the long-term fan who turned me on to PJ. He's gone to every show so far and is going tonight. I went on Tuesday and am not sure about tonight. I am not sick (in the sense I am contagious, but I had a serious condition which was bad and had me out of commission the last two days, but has calmed down today. I am still feeling light-headed (and heart and head pounding). From all I am reading/hearing about, tonight's show should be really uplifting. But I am afraid to be one of those downers who has to sit througout the show...especially since my husband has really good 10c seats on the floor. What do you think? On a personal level, it may help me out emotionally to be there. But for the hardcore fans, am I going to ruin your night (mainly don't want to ruin my husband's!)? But after reading the post above, I am hoping the night will magically cure me!
I don't know what to tell you. I have a terrible cold, spent yesterday and all day thus far today in bed in the hotel room while my husband took the kids around the city. Last night's show was awesome, but I was not magically cured by it, absolutely could not sing along or jump around, and did not enjoy it nearly as much as the first two shows because I felt lousy. I think I am sufficiently run-down that I have reached the limit of what adrenalin can do for me.
I have a high 10C number, and it looks like my seats for tonight will be in the 300 level. My husband is insisting that I go. Maybe I can find someone who will trade me for behind-stage 200-level seats, so I at least can sit in a less-smoky area? I am so bummed that I am sick.

Thanks for posting! Sorry you aren't feeling well (and night wasn't as fun as it could have been!) I am def not feeling up to jumping around
. So I think that might ruin some of the night for me.
I pretty much am leaning toward not going....
I think my husband is going to try to wait for a bit before posting the ticket (to see if i start to feel better).
I hope you find a better ticket in an area not so smokey! Good luck and feel better.Post edited by Jritorto on0 -

My fiance and I were in section 201, row 1, seats 1-2. Glad to have been with a great section. Did anyone else notice how nice the security guards were? They were like icing on the cake for a great show. Looking forward to tonight.0 -

Are you kidding me? This brings me back to the Devore show in 2000. I was sick as a dog with a fever, I couldn't stop coughing, I was one day removed from a horrible root canal, and the show was outdoors on a chilly 60-degree night. Oh, and I was going to the show by myself (back in the day when the 10C allowed you to buy only one ticket) because I couldn't afford a second ticket when the tickets originally went on sale.
But there was not a millisecond that went by in which I considered missing the show. And I didn't. And it rocked. And I would still be kicking myself today, many, many shows later, if I had missed it then.

Great show!!! Have seen 200+ concerts, but never have seen anyone jump over the railing. I was in 317 row AA, guy comes up says "would you jump?" Of course, not being THAT high, I say not a chance. 30 seconds later, over he goes. I hope no one below was hurt. After not moving for a minute or two, the guy was taken out on a stretcher. Big buzz kill, hope the guy is ok.
Can't wait for tonight, but PLEASE, nobody jump.0 -

I hear what you are saying, but -- how old were you in 2000? I'm old (40), at least according to the young whippersnappers on this board, and my kids don't stop making demands of me just because I am sick. Telling myself that later I would regret not attending last night's show got me through it, and it was great. I don't know if I can take two nights in a row like this, though. If you go tonight, and you see an "old" woman faint, do her a favor and catch her, please (I'm not heavy). All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0 -

i'm "old" too and i havent been feeling well this week either so i definitely feel your pain. i dont have kids so i couldnt imagine how drained you must be right now. i hope you can catch a good nap and be rested enough to enjoy what will probably be one of the best pj shows ever!If nothing is everything, I'll have it all0 -

Thank you. At the very least, I plan to nap in the car until 8:15 or so. I would hate to miss the best Halloween party ever.
