Amazing amazing amazing, holy shit what engery. Immorality, rival, ghost, all those yesterdays, rvm, SOLAT,leash the best black i've ever heard. And ritfw had to be close to 10 minutes of pure kick ass rock. Im floored and so stoked for the other 3 shows. eddie and the boys read this site for sure he quoted numerous things from the 2am sat show to stone quitting the band. its gonna be hard to top this show but i have a feeling they just might. No evenflow, betterman, smalltown, alive, ylb. Insane until tomorrow. :o:o:o

Awesome they played Leash!! Wish I was there. How good did it sound?

First of all, my seats were great -- thanks Ten Club! Section 201 was far better than I expected with my 400,000+ number.

Oddly, my 189xxx number got me section 217....which is on Stone's side but as far right as you could be. Didn't hurt the show for me though. Had a great time.

It sounded really, really, really good. :D And I do not feel the least bit stupid singing "Drop the leash, we are young" at forty. 8-)

Honestly with the setlist how ramped up can the crowd get midstream? Night 2 will be a little better but I dont expect anything fantastic till shows 3 and 4. Not rocket science but there is not going to be a earth shaker setlist till the last day or so...sure a few rare ones here and there but..
Ten Club # 433608, when I am 80 I will be in the front row!

Anyone saying this crowd didn't have any energy is ridiculous. The singing was LOUDER than Ed. And I got Rival. RIVAL. Again, thank you.

whoever thinks the crowd wasn't energized tonight must have been high as a kite (not that there's anything wrong with that)

go to west palm beach if you want to see a dead crowd...tonight's crowd was on fire. the setlist ruled. and the band totally kicked ass.

my expectations were low for night one...PJ killed it tonight. they set the bar high for the rest of the week!!

Speaking as someone who sat next to Jen Fletcher at the show tonight....... :)

What a freaking night!!! I'm now officially spoiled, because I won the lottery tonight!!! 2nd row, directly in front of Mike. I brought my mom...I felt I owed it to her, she was the one who turned me on to Pearl Jam in the first place. I'm really glad she was there for the show where I won the lottery! We each caught one of Mike's guitar picks. It was just absolutely perfect...we loved watching Mike's facial expressions and audience interactions.
As for the setlist, I thought it was really interesting and varied. Definitely not a greatest hits setlist. My mom had said that she wanted to hear Nothingman, Dissident, and Black while we were driving to the show, and she got all three!!! I was very happy to hear All Those Yesterdays and Immortality. Rival, Ghost, and Parachutes were nice surprises too.
Anywho, I need to go to bed...I have no idea how they are going to top this (three times), but all I know is that tonight will probably be the best concert experience of my life; thanks, 10 club.

Just got back from the show and holy shit!! Every song seem to come out of no where... it was like opening a bunch of random lovely gifts.....So happy .. i can die now regret free after having seen "Rival" live.. :D

Im sure i'll put together a proper fan view soon but.. here's a few things that happened tonight ..

    - Ed and Stone mention the "stone leaving the band" or not playing shows with them..rumors and have a very good sense of humor about it. Apparently the only way they could keep Stone from quitting pearl jam is if he could sing a little song called..mankind  Which the crowd , including myself seem to thoroughly enjoy
    - The drum set now has the "brain" picture from backspacer cover.. At some point in the show, matt switches to lit drum sticks (green ends) i wanna say it was during "why go"
-Massive amounts of pics and tambourines were thrown
    - Um bee girl with jeff on guitar :o
    - Flawless version of "love reign o'er me"
    - Had no trouble smoking a j ;)
    - Poster RULED....
    - Backspacer really transferred well and differently live, made me dig alot more..
    - Probably the most unpredictable, random setlist i've ever seen (and i mean that in a good way)
    - Jeff and mike trade spots at some point just to you know.. See what its like from the other point of view for a little while :D
    - Everyone was in a fantastic mood..band, crowd.. even the drunks minded their p's and q's
    - Mad vibes and energy, all around:)
    - Probably my first show ever not hearing Evenflow!!

Back from the bar post show and will have my fan views probably in the morning after it sinks in a little.

But all I could say after the show was just Wow, I can't believe I just saw that.

My friend I went with won the lottery and we were 2nd row in front of Mike.

Here are my pics from tonight:

Unbelievable show, incredible crowd. This was my 22nd show, and I would place it in the Top 5, and I've been to a few Hall of Fame worthy shows (Vegas 2000, every MSG show since 98, No Code show at Jones Beach) and now Saturday...can't wait. hope there's a Dunkin Donuts inside the Spectrum. Oh, and I can see why there closing the joint, during Social distortion, the guy next to me was jumping and our row, literally the ground beneath our feet, broke and we dropped a few inches.

For a moment there I thought "Love, Reign O'er Me (Townshend)" actually meant "featuring Pete Townshend"... But then I saw "Rockin' in the Free World (Young)" and thought "no fuckin' way"... ;)

I think I must said wow like 20 times during the course of the show. That was an epic, at least in the small percentage of shows that I've seen since 2003. I thought they were going to say something about the World Series leading into "Rival" and "All Those Yesterdays" was a nice treat. It would have been cool if they followed that with the Humus that you hear on the end of Yield. The sound was really good as well, of course sitting in one of the closest sections on the wings helps, but definitely the best show I've been to out of all the good ones I've seen.

This was my 14th show and I've seen some great shows over the last 10 years, so I can no longer try to compare which shows were better than others.
With that said, last nights show was great! As much as I love Even Flow, it was nice not hearing it for once! The setlist was so diverse, you couldn't even take a guess as to what they'd play next! I didn't hear anything I hadn't heard before except for the new material, but the variety was fantastic!

I also thought the setlist would feature more Backspacer, but that was not the case as only 4 songs were played. The band sounded amazing and fed off the energy from the crowd. I did notice more people than usual left early, and the crowds energy depended on the section. By the end of the 2 1/2 hour show, my section 307, had pretty much cleared out! Granted the seats I had weren't great, and I wish I was able to get my 10c tickets, but the show was still great!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what I just witnessed, and I am jealous of all of you going to the next 3 shows!

Oh I took my friend who is not a fan and had never seen PJ live, and I think this show converted him!
