I too regret not getting into them earlier.
I only started listening to them last year when I bought the new album on a whim, and have totally fallen in love with them.
Pretty upset there's a high possibility I'll never get to see them live, being here in the UK.0 -

I doubt it'll be indefinite. It may be an extensive hiatus, but the Black Crowes are too much of a fabulous band to hang it up forever. Give it some years, let them grow...they'll be back. You'll be able to see them, and you'll then know how truly amazing this band is.
I've only seen them twice, but last time...it was spiritual for me -- truly one of the best atmospheres, vibes, energy...all that stuff. The Crowes embody rock and roll...no question.
Until the return comes though, you've got plenty of time to go back into their catalog, and even better....explore their bootlegs:

This tour will be the 5th time I have caught them. The first time in 92 or 93 had so much rockin' energy I couldn't believe it. And the show last year in Portland just showed absolutely top-notch musicians at the peak of their song-writing and showmanship abilities. Luther!!! They just kick so much ass. If someone told me that all I could ever listen to again was PJ and the Crowes, I'd be ok with that.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

they're sold separately, i think, via a partner website that's actually putting the packages together. i looked, but unless i'm meeting the band, i'm not interested.Mesa 11/7/93 - Charlotte 10/4/96 - DC 6/14/98 - Raleigh 8/31/98 - Knoxville 9/6/98 - Columbia MD 9/18/98 - DC 9/19/98 - Columbia MD 9/4/00 - Phoenix 10/21/00 - Raleigh 4/15/03 - Phoenix 6/7/03 - Philadelphia 5/27&28/06 - DC 5/30/06 - Las Vegas 7/6/06 - San Diego 7/7/06 - LA 7/9&10/06 - Gorge 7/22&23/06 - Chicago 8/5/07 - PJ20 9/3&4/11 - Jacksonville 11/24/12 (EV) - Orlando 11/27/12 (EV) - Brooklyn 10/18&19/13 - Charlotte 10/30/13 - Memphis 10/14/14 - Ft Lauderdale 4/8/16 - Miami 4/9/16 - Jacksonville 4/13/16 - Hampton 4/18/16 - Chicago 8/20&22/160 -

I felt the exact same way about the SLC show last November, they really really brought it. Amazing performance from every member. Chris has some of the sweetest live vocals ever. His improvisation and change of delivery is so exciting to me.
God damn, waiting for the three shows I'm going to be seeing is brutal.
A buddy and me are very much so contemplating making the trip to Eagle (Boise) to see that one too.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

Picked up a pair of tix for "An Evening with The Black Crowes" at The Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee today, pretty happy 'bout that. The VIP pit tix were already sold out by the time I could get to my computer though (about an hour after they went on sale). Oh well, still a great venue and it should be awesome for this historic occasion.
Today on Sirius channel 16, the DJ said there was going to be a Faces reunion and that Chris Robinson was going to be the lead singer for the North American tour dates? Googled it, and couldn't find anything really. I would love to see Chris up there w/ Woody! Anybody else hear anything? I hope this isn't just ANOTHER rumor..."In certain trying circumstances...profanity furnishes a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain0 -

There is an entire thread on crowesbase.net dedicated to that rumor. Me thinks it's true.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

OK, not doing the VIP packages. The two shows I am going to are GA on the floor with Balcony seating and the packages give you priority access to the balcony. I am not sitting in the balcony for this tour! Might be the last time I ever see them!
So, I got GA Pit in Dallas in the pre-sale today ($39).
Going for GA in Houston tomorrow morning.
I wish I could hit more of these!!!
Well, I guess you never know what will happen when the fall rolls around. Maybe an opportunity will present itself.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

Friends and fellow Amoricans, it's been a Good Friday indeed...
17th row for Raleigh, center stage
13th row for Jacksonville, center stage
GA tickets for BOTH hometown Atlanta shows
Ticketmaster does take an awfully big bite of your wallet, but worth every penny. I am literally daydreaming about Fall, 2010 right now. I also made the mistake of watching Warpaint Live on DVD last night, so my cup truly runneth over with excitement.
I hope you all got the tickets you wanted as well.Mesa 11/7/93 - Charlotte 10/4/96 - DC 6/14/98 - Raleigh 8/31/98 - Knoxville 9/6/98 - Columbia MD 9/18/98 - DC 9/19/98 - Columbia MD 9/4/00 - Phoenix 10/21/00 - Raleigh 4/15/03 - Phoenix 6/7/03 - Philadelphia 5/27&28/06 - DC 5/30/06 - Las Vegas 7/6/06 - San Diego 7/7/06 - LA 7/9&10/06 - Gorge 7/22&23/06 - Chicago 8/5/07 - PJ20 9/3&4/11 - Jacksonville 11/24/12 (EV) - Orlando 11/27/12 (EV) - Brooklyn 10/18&19/13 - Charlotte 10/30/13 - Memphis 10/14/14 - Ft Lauderdale 4/8/16 - Miami 4/9/16 - Jacksonville 4/13/16 - Hampton 4/18/16 - Chicago 8/20&22/160 -
