and what can i say, we had our first date/first kiss....same day. i'm easy, apparently.

kissing on a first date makes one easy? i need to learn the rules of this before i start subjecting the women of northeast ohio to my fast-paced lifestyle.

the thing about your husband is a classic example of why i don't understand the female mind at all. you like the guy more, so you'll sleep with other guys faster? what sense does that make? ladies?

I actually didn't kiss on the first date, but I did the second, then went the whole hog. Does that make me easy? He was quite delighted. As with other guys I went out with (well there weren't that many before him really), once I'd actually started having sex, I probably did sleep with them the first time - it was generally alcohol fuelled. So I guess in a way I did wait longer with him (if only marginally).
i was 18 when i first met my husband

I was 19, we moved in together after 3 months and have been together pretty much since then. We did split up mid 20's for about 6 months and went off and did our own thing. Married when I was 28 (he was 29). Now and then he'll go off and travel/holiday by himself, which is fine, it works for us. It's amazing how the time flies! :D

As for understanding the female mind, I have no idea, I haven't got a clue what goes on in my own mind sometimes let alone anyone else. :?

You mean to say he hasn't made the call YET! By now she may have forgotten who he is.

Well I'm sure you've already called, but if not here's a tip on how not to handle it.

I met this guy Friday. He seemed really nice and we hit it off so I gave him my number. Last night, or this morning I guess, at 2am, I get a txt from him saying "So what's up for this weekend?" His txt woke me up! We won't be going out. I mean come on, at least call and do it at a decent hour.

I totally agree with you here this called having respect for someone else. If you can't have repect for each other the relationship is going to be doomed.

Oh, I called. Got a date. Then canceled this afternoon.
Yesterday, my ex-girlfriend (with whom I broke up with about six months ago, but had a drunken hook-up with about one month ago) asked me to come over to her house. Once there, she told me she was pregnant.

I have no fucking clue where to go from here.

Yeah I'm not really sure where to go from here. I don't think she's trying to trap me into anything because she's not ever sure she wants to keep it. We are going to talk to some people her doctor recommended, like councilors who deal with this kind of thing.
We both come from Catholic families, so we are both fairly certain on where our parents are going to stand on things.
This is some pretty heavy shit right now.

Yeah- it just didn't feel right for me.
Plus- I doubt I would have been much fun. I was pretty much in shock all day yesterday.

Well if she is indeed pregnant, make sure you get a DNA test after the baby is born to determine whether you are the father or not...

Now what you need to decide is, if you still love her or not. Your life shouldn't stop because she may or may not be pregnant with your baby...

This will NOT help the baby if you two are together for that reason only, and if you don't love the mom...

    Good Luck!!!

    Wish you were here...

I will definitely make sure I'm the father before doing anything official.
She and I have been talking a lot over the last few days, and trying to make sure we make the right decision for everyone.
It's just not at all what I expected to be dealing with this week.

    :o What a week!!

Take it slow and don't rush anything. I can't imagine what it's like but I know it's better not to leap in, but to step back for a while.

    Take care of yourself.

    It's official.
My old gf is 6-8 weeks pregnant.
We went and talked with a nurse at her OBGYN's office to see what our options are and get some questions answered.
We've talked about it, and although we haven't made a final decision, I think we are going to keep it.
I'm not sure about anything else right now as far as our relationship is concerned.
We are still pretty much in shock.

    Well I'm definitely pissing myself...
We are pretty unprepared to deal with this. Financially we should be ok- both of us have decent jobs and have insurance, but neither of us have ever dealt with a baby before.
Things are going to get very strange, very soon.
