Going to the 10/31 show... GET THERE EARLY!
People... if you're going to the 10/31 show be sure to get there early. Heed my warning: If you don't get there by 1pm, YOU'LL NEVER FIND A PARKING PLACE WITH IN 2 MILES, and you'll be cursing yourself for not taking my advice.
Believe me... it's going to be a mess down there.
1) It's game 3 of the Phillies/Yankees world series
2) Pearl Jam is closing out the Specturm
3) The Flyers are playing at Waovia center (home game)
4) It's Halloween
5) It's a Saturday....
In all honesty, public transportation is your best beat.

Seriously. If you can't get there by 1pm. Don't waste your time. I can't wait to see all the post after the show of how it was a mess down there and they had to park miles away from the lot.

I am talking numbers. The # of people attending the Phillies game + PJ is ~ to the # attending an Eagles game. You can disagree but dont insult me with telling me I dont have a clue.
Last years game 3 atmosphere was crazy. As many people there were who had actual tickets, there were about 3x's that in the parking lot just wanting to be part of the scene. Parking was a mess and that game was on a weekday and that wasn't with one of the greatest bands in the world playing across the street.
10/31 is a Saturday... it's Halloween... the Phillies are playing the Yankees in game 3 of the WS, Pearl Jam, the greatest band in the world is playing the last show at the Spectrum.....it's gong to be a party down there.... and everyone is gong to want to be part of it.
Like I said.... It's going to be crazy.

All the Flyers fans will have left the area by 4 or 5PM, so that eliminated most of them. Then there will be the usual tailgaters for the concert and Phils game. Yes a big crowd, yes traffic, but shouldn't be any crazier than most Sundays down at the sports complexes.
