That depends on how much I actually won. First, I'd have to pay off the mortgage, save enough so that my three kids won't have any student loan debt, buy my husband a new car, give a nice chunk to my brother and my mom and donate to a couple of other charities, and invest wisely for my husband and I to retire on. After all of that, if there were enough to supplement daily life, I'd probably work 3 days per week instead of 5 bc I do love my job and need the excellent health coverage it provides. That's depressing.

    But I don't gamble so....

Oops realized a few posts ago I never asked a question :disagree:
But I'd probably still work. It would be nice to do something you love with additional security. Plus the flexibility of using days off and stuff knowing you got extra money in the bank.

    Any plans for this weekend?

I've actually found a bottle here hmm "Havana club" well it didn't taste so very good but I got a warm feeling in my stomach now, I like it better in a drink like mojito

    What's your favorite drink?
  • Smoothies, as I don't drink alcohol!

    What's your favourite food?
  • Coffee If your talking alcohol I'd have to say Brown rum with cola.

Do you look forward to Xmas or do you see it as an obligation?

  • Yepper. I don't think I can use the toilet without my phone/iPad anymore. It would almost be unnatural.

Even though 2014 was really a pretty good year for me, happy to see it go. Onwards and upwards with good memories in the rearviewmirror :)

    Any New Year's plans?

  • Heading out with a good friend to see a couple of really good local bands, get our drunk on and just basically have a blast saying goodbye to a year that brought some real trials and some unbelievable highs.

Do you make New Years resolutions and if so have any of them ever stuck?

  • I don't think I ever make serious ones, but I will do my best this year as I really need to change things.

my weight, my skin/scars and rid of my mental illness

did the serum work on your skin love ??
  • Ah I'm still on the tea tree oil at the moment! My skin should be on my list of things to fix as well, but I'm hoping some of my other resolutions will have a positive effect on it. One is to be in bed with the lights out before midnight during the work week, another is to try and stop comparing myself to others and worrying about what people think of me. Hopefully if I can reduce the stress levels this may be good for my skin too. Ambitious resolutions for me though :-<

Question for all: Have you ever been to a school reunion and how did you find it?
  • shetellsherselfshetellsherself New Jersey Posts: 8,818
Never. My 20th high school reunion was in 2012. I would have had to travel to attend the festivities. (Grew up in a tiny town in nebraska and now live in New Jersey). I know from stories I've heard that it's just a drunken rehashing of the high school cliques and gossip that I hated back then. I don't drink so I woudnt even have been able to medicate my way through that. Ugh. No f'n thanks. Truthfully, I couldn't wait to get out of there at age 18. I went off to college and never looked back. I never fit in then and definitely woudnt now. I haven't even spoken to a single high school classmate ONCE since graduation day. I make no apologies and have not an ounce of regret

How many peope were in your high school graduating class?

  • In Ireland it's secondary school and there were 20 in my own class and 60 in the year (which I think is what you mean when you say class). We had our ten year reunion on Saturday and it was lovely to see people again, but was sad that I have no friends from school :(

Which did you enjoy more, school or college?
  • Never been to a school reunion of any sort.. No reason to, I hated those people, and I find no good reason to allow them anything to do with my life..plus, I just don't do well with people at all..

Definitely enjoyed College and University much more! There was a freedom there that I enjoyed very much. I could jump on my horse, pack my homework inmy saddlebags and do it ( the homework) up in the hills near a super neat creek. I miss it..

Why would you go or NOT go to a school reunion?
  • I went because I loved school and my year was a nice bunch of people who I wanted to see again. I can't really blame them for me having no friends from school, that's down to me being too shy.

If you could go back and give your 12 year old self some advice, what would it be?
  • That people really CAN'T be trusted, animals make way better friends, and love is a lie. That's my honest answer. It would have saved me a lot of pain heart ache and subjecting mysf to
Humiliation had I known these things then!

Is there anything you would like to have learned earlier in life?
  • deadendpdeadendp Posts: 10,434
There's so much, but then life wouldn't be as it is if I did. Hmmmm. Patience. I do not corner the market on patience. That would have been something nicer to learn earlier in life.

New Year's Eve/Day- Do you go out or stay in?

  • I stay in New Year's Eve...I always work New Year's Day. Not a big drinker and hate all the drunks on the roads so I avoid that at all costs.

What is your opinion on R.E.M.? I ask because I am just recently discovering the deep tracks...love it.

  • Just NOW?? I LOVE R.E.M. I must say, they've always written some very deep and thought provoking music, and a lot of it resonates with me deeply. So, dig, deep deep.. They have a massive catalog of unique and beautiful music!!

Is there any song wether PJ or otherwise that you would consider a 'theme song' in your life?
  • Yeah, just now digging deep. Just listened to Collapse Into Now and Reveal the other deal. Really enjoyed those albums quite a bit. I am obviously familiar with a lot of their music...radio stuff and some deep tracks (Can't Get There From Here and a few others). But I will keep digging.

But to answer your question...Always really liked Pleas by Widespread Panic as a theme song to my life. But another is In A Daydream by Freddy Jones Band. Both songs just put me in a great mood too.

Who do you think will induct Pearl Jam into the RnR HoF?
