Haha, I thought the same when they cut off the cute curls of my nephew the first time. But hair grows back so fast. Now he is in 2nd grade and wears his curls again long and proud
My mom and grandma always said cutting the hair off makes it stronger and more thick when it grows back (they didn't tell us back then that they had to cut it off because one of us sisters always brought lice home with her that she got in kindergarten or school by someone else and they just wanted to minimize the damage :? )
