kind of nervous to go back to work on Monday. :?

    you'll be fine!

Thanks. I'm sure I will be. It's just overwhelming after being off for 5 weeks to go back and face my office with them knowing what had happened to me. I went on leave with no one knowing what was going on in my personal life and the surgery and I got phone calls a week later asking why I was having my surgery done. Let's just say I was a little dumbfounded and taken off guard when they called. Considering I told no one except my HR manager and my boss. :?

If that's the case they broke some rules. They are not supposed to tell anyone. In fact, they can't ask you for details, let alone everyone else, if your leave had already been approved by an external disability insurance carrier. Not sure about how it works if that is done in house but regardless, they aren't supposed to "leak" to anyone.

Just tell anyone who asks that you are fine, you would prefer not to talk about it and slap a big smile on your face. You don't have to tell anyone anything that you don't want to tell.

You'll be back in your groove in no time!

the weather has been terrible this month. I coach my son's soccer team and have only been able to play one game and two practices for the whole month, today's game of course is cancelled.
