    My Dad. It's five years ago today since he died. I think I'm more reflective than mourning now, although I obviously miss him so much. You get to a stage where you realise that if you are continually upsetting yourself over it, it'll never end. The Sun doesn't stop rising and the world doesn't wait for you. You have to carry on and, over time, the weight that you carry may not get any less, just easier to manage.
    It's gonna be a glorious day...

    This is too true. My father passed 3 years and 5 months ago....

    so sorry for your loss. i lost my father 8 years ago,i still miss him every day.it never gets easy.i just hope we'll see them on the other side....may god rest your fathers soul...and yours too.sincerly, dan.

    After awhile it feels as though he is there with you- I feel I have great spirits with me that are just out of reach.
    My father passed 20 years ago this April on a Good Friday. An amazing man that so many took for granted the sign of a generous loving soul. I see a full moon and think of his round face and twinkling green eyes. See a classic Sport Fury and remember when family reunions brought 5 to the driveway- all bought for his girls by my generous father. I hear Louis Armstrong or see someone play the piano and I think of him. I smile the pain is all gone now and I know he will meet me on the other side.
